It's Official!! New Timing system @ RockCreek & Snowshoe

We are using a new universal timing system at Rock Creek and Snowshoe Mountain hillclimbs, and the primary winner is... the drivers!

The good news is that you can set it up for use on your car almost anywhere, and it serves multiple purposes when you do normal track days in your car. It works on an infrared beam system and is accurate to .01 !

We will be temporarily attaching them to the cars for the Rock Creek and Snowshoe hillclimbs, if you have one of your own you will be able to run in EVERY session at each hillclimb - vastly improving your chances of mastering the hills! Mount it where the driver will be able to see it as you race up the hill! It can also be a great tool for as you video tape the run to critique your driving!

We are VERY excited about this new timing system, it greatly simplifies the runs and allows the drivers to get instant feedback about their times. We will have a limited # of timers at each event, and will run cars in groups based on the # of cars that use our timers + any cars that have their own ultra-lap timers.

We highly recommend drivers purchasing their own timers and getting the maximum amount of runs up the hill.
