Brian-

What size are you? I might be able to rustle up a set of belts, and I have a spare medium and large single layer suit... All you'd need is Nomex undies and gloves...

Let me know if you'd like to borrow anything.

HI,

If your XL I have spare suit, unders, gloves, and I believe I have 2 sets of belts that are still good till the end of this year. Post what size you are Matts stuff may work also depending on your size. If that's all that's holding you up between Matt and I or even others out there we can get you on the track. Don't let those few things stop you, go have some fun :D

Let me know so I can find these belts for you.

Thanks Matt G.

Matt,
Thank you very much for the offer. I doubt I will fit in a large suit at 6'3", 275 lbs (yes, I fit in the Midget!)

Wow, this already seems like a good group when people offer to help you out so freely.

Here is my shopping list that will eventually get ordered. If you know of a better source, let me know:
Racer Wholsale for everything listed
G Force 105 suit - XXL $100
Nomex Undies (top $50, bottom $50)
Nomex socks $15
G Force nomex Balaclava $25
G Force G-1 (SFI-1) gloves $39
G Force 5pt, camlock pull-up $110
Handheld B:C fire extingusher $35

I've been working on the wife and she is starting to give in. Gotta love the games we play
With any luck I can talk my way into all the gear I need 8)

Are any of the tech inspectors going to Import/kit car Carlisle next weekend? I will be there Friday - Sunday with my car on display at the Spridgetech booth. I'd really hate to spend a bunch of $$ on this gear only to have an issue with the car when I get to Summit Point.

Thanks for reading my ramblings and questions.

Tim,
Thank you also! You must have replied while I was typing!
You guys are awsome!

Give me another day to see if I can get the suit and undies....

I may need to borrow those belts. Mine are setup as clip in's to the correct eye-bolt harware for the lap and I can either do wrap-around or bolt in shoulder. Pull-up laps are nice (tight fit), but beggers can't be choosers!

If you end up just needing a suit Tim STILL has my old one. That should fit you nicely.

:D :D :D :D

I'm getting ready to run at Summit!
I just ordered the suit, gloves and nomex undies. 8)
Entry form is printed out and I'll be filling it out this weekend.

I will need to borrow a harness if that is still possible.

Should I mail in my SCCA registration or bring it with me since I probabbly won't get a return back from nationals with only 2 weeks to go?

I look forward to meeting all of you in 2 weeks.

Brian

PS - how early can you check into the track on Friday? I have off all day so I'd like to get there early and get all the formalities taken care of.

Bring the SCCA registration with you just to be on the safe side. And congratulations on getting approval from your CFO!

HI,

Also the gate should be open to get back to the course at 5pm Friday. If there is nobody using the track that day you could get back there earlier.

Any problems no or down there please call me, # is on the entry.

I'll be putting the finishing touches on the car and packing up tonight. I'm glad I orded my suite a few weeks ago, because I had to send it back for the next size (lets just say it will be the only thing with XXX on it that I will ever be in!). The XXLg fit, but gave me an atomic wedgie when I tried to sit down

See ya'll tomorrow night.
