Fall Weatherly

Post by Rayk101 »

Weatherly, Weatherly, Weatherly, the time is here! As of now the weather is looking great. The nights look like they'll be in the 40°'s and days in the 60°'s so dress warm and pack extra blankets. Only change from the Spring will be the parade will be at 6 instead of 7 due to it getting dark earlier. Please try to attend it with your race car, the town people love it. Also there will be a doggy walk after last run Saturday to turn 1 and back down.

The Weatherly Hillclimb Association asks to please be considerate with parking. The return road side of pits will not open until Friday morning to help with congestion. The opposite side and lower lot will open Thursday. Yes, we know the tree boxes are a pain but it was an agreement with land owner to use property. Most likely the spots will be numbered to help keep organization. We ask please if your not planning to camp the weekend in your tow vehicle, do not take a woods spot. If your not towing a car and plan to camp the weekend, please park behind a tree box. The spots on woods side of return road are for racers that are keeping there tow rig hooked up to their trailer, staying in it and/or not planning to move it until the race is over Sunday. If you have an open trailer and are staying in a hotel, your welcome to a road side spot and can keep your trailer in The Weatherly Casting parking lot for the weekend.
Please spread the word. Were trying to keep it stress free for everyone.

With that said, the Association hopes everyone has a safe trip and we all, including the town people, can't wait for the weekend to get here!

At registration, all entries will receive a sticker which is to be placed on the driver's side windshield of their support vehicle. Any vehicle without the sticker that is parked in the pit area will be asked to vacate the area.

To clarify my previous post, a support vehicle with a pit sticker may still need to be vacated if there is not enough room for the race cars. Space must be provided for all race cars that desire to park in the pits. Those without a sticker only identifies those vehicles that do not belong in the pit area.

How do you then decide which support vehicle with a sticker has to leave when more room for Race cars is required?
