Rich - what's going on at Summit? Will we be able to get in to buy gas? Are we staying over Sunday night? Sue

I'll call the track on Monday and let you know what they have to say.

Called many times today, but the phone just rang and rang. No answering machine. I'll try again tomorrow.

Should be able to get gas at the main track as usual. I'll ask about staying over Sunday night. The agreement, as usual, says we have the track starting at 6pm Friday. It's quite possible we won't get in until then.

Exchanged a couple emails with the Track today, mostly confirming our agreement for this weekend. I asked about staying over Sunday night in the last email I sent, but they haven't responded.

Food. Saturday dinner will be catered by the same place that did the food at Fall Jefferson last year (Railside Market) Barbecued chicken, sweet and hot sausage with peppers and onions, potoato salad, and corn casserole. If you would like to contribute anything, a side dish, dessert, whatever, just bring it! If there are leftovers, we'll put them out at lunchtime on Sunday

Thanks,
Rich Rock

Just got word that we are permitted to stay over Sunday night, providing we are GONE by 7am! No exceptions, no excuses.

The weather on Saturday looks great and Sunday afternoon is only a 20% chance of showers which is great! Should be a perfect event! I hope you all have a great time and throw one into the Esses for me!

67 timed entries. Would have been well over 70, but there were several cancellations, mostly due to car problems. Thanks to all the drivers, workers and officials, and anyone who helped in any way. Thanks also to Timm and Patti Murphy for allowing us to use their new (500 miles on the odometer)tow vehicle as a course truck. That truck is GREAT!!

I need pictures to add to a report on Jefferson.
I am going to post the report and hopefully someone will send me some good pictures of these cars.
Any pictures you send me I will try to use at some point during the season.
Please send to DLWit@comcast.net.

There is some print on the car (orange letters) something like: The Darkside of Pumpkin Racing
