Just a reminder that registration for this event closes on Mon, 20 Sep 2010 - so far, I only see Grace & Paul registered. Of course, I'm so terrible with names that everyone could be entered and I wouldn't know it...

I'm a little surprised, it's not that common to get to run the main track in this kind of format. I thought some of you guys said you wanted to run something other than Jefferson? :D

Something bad* happened to DC region's website, and the link that Matt provided in the first post is not working currently. Here's a link to the main calendar page that can get you to registration and the supps.

Thanks for the help with the link. Dunno what happened to the WDCR website other than it's very upset.

One can also find registration for the event on DLB Racing.

Matthew

Heads up - the WDCR website is running again.

There have been a few questions about the event that I'll try to clarify.

The gates open at 0700 on Saturday morning and will remain open until after the event closes on Sunday.

Registration is on-line only and closes at midnight on Monday. Cancellations are via the website and a full refund is possible if the car doesn't turn a wheel in-track.

We have a BBQ of hot dogs, burgers and side dishes on Sat evening after the PDX. We ask for a $5 donation to offset the cost. BYOB.

Thanks to those of you from PHA who attended the Track Trials - since we use times and a different format from Jefferson, I didn't play starter and no one tried to run me over (except Paul but we think he just had his eyes shut).

Hope to see more folks out in Rocktober!!

I must have misunderstood . They said to close my eyes at the start ,wish for a good time, and run over Matt to start the lap timer. Paul

Just make sure you don't get confused when you run the next PHA event. THIS Matt would not be happy. Well, I'm okay if you run over Bad Matt. :D

Keep this up and I'll stop wearing my Nomex mini-skirt and playing "Umbrella Boy"...

You do have another chance to run over at least 1 Matt before the end of the season - we have another Track Trials event on Sun, Oct 24 on Summit Point Main (I'll post details separately).
