Arm Restraints ?

Post by jesfromric »

Last question - I think...

If I am running an open cockpit Miata with a full cage AND center net AND window net do I also need arm restraints ????

Need to know ASAP so I can get them ordered in time to leave...

Thanks

You are required to properly wear arm restraints in all open top cars. See page 88 of the GCR ( section 9.3.19) for information.

Window nets for closed cars is covered on page 107 (section 9.3.64). You are not required to wear arm restraints in closed cars with window nets.

Don't worry if you don't get them in time - I keep an extra set in my Nomex bag. Stop fretting - we take good care of new drivers. Look for the old Jag & start the weekend with one of my martinis. Sue

Susan - Thanks!

Yes, I have your martinis down on my checklist of things to do while there.
