Hi ,

You bet, it will be very different and you are correct Jefferson is a great shake down track. I'm glad to hear your ready to go. I'll be there and may have the Stang but not likely, to much to do and I'm still waiting for my motor.

Hi all, This is not a PHA, or SCCA region activity, or event; it is a driver’s thing that I have done in the past. Once again the rules and/or regulations are twisted and taken out of context to achieve what you want or think should happen. The money submitted is posted in this thread and after the ...

Hi all, There is no change in any rules for this year. Now if your class of car requires a cage then you need it. If your class min specs is a rollbar then you would need that at least. If your refering to the proposed cage rule in Solo2 classes then that would not need to be done for another 3 year...

Memorial Plaques for John and Rob....

Hi all, As a driver once again I would like to get everyone together and chip-in to present plaques to both John Champion’s family and Rob Deysher’s family. John and Rob were both great guys, and accomplished drivers. These plaques will be similar to Steve Flakus’s plaque which I did 2 years ago and...

HI all, What a great guy all around! John and I talked quite a bit down at Blue Ridge Hill Climb this past year. He was a diehard hill climber and he did it well. I will always remember that daring ride through the elbow at Giants’ this year when he was on 2 wheels. I'm very sorry to hear this and m...

Hi all,

I wish I could inform you about what is going on with the event but I have no idea myself. Just an FYI any questions or comments about Jefferson should be directed to Tom Knorr. Under extreme protest by myself I was not permitted by NEPA’s board to organize this event.

Hi all, Matt’s eagerness to drive your car would be the answer from any driver and I know I would do it in a heartbeat. I’m sure he would be driving it under the threshold of being on the edge. That doesn’t mean there could be a mechanical failure causing an incident, which would be the most likely ...

Would a cage have helped me? I don’t know but having a cage in the 70 Boss Mach I with only stock seatbelts would have killed me for sure. If there was a cage and a 5 point harness then I may have spared my head from plowing a 1 inch deep and 10 inch wide path all the way through the driver’s side p...

HI all, Brandon, I would assume and only can assume that bolt in will be legal. As far as I have seen bolt in wasn't talked about or specified. But if the states more then one side bar then a bolt in will not comply without modifying it with a second bar. I would doubt a second bar would be required...

Hi all, I’m glad to hear Ross is ok driving on our streets is much more dangerous then racing that’s for sure. I was a Tech inspector for a few years at the events and still hold a scrutineers license. One of this to consider is a proper cage installation, padded areas, and the biggest is safety bel...

HI all,

The idiot that set that course up is at fault. Jersey barriers don't move and should never have been so close to the course on top of that having it in the apex after a high speed part of the course is just nuts!!
