Re: Turkey Bowl XI
No problem. I enjoyed doing something to keep moving and warm Saturday morning
Just somthing so ironic about using duct tape in WV......
How did the last run on Saturday go? I had to leave early and just saw you take the warm-up and 2 laps by the time I left.

Re: Turkey Bowl XI
Plans have changed due to weather report. I will be visiting family in the area andand only be there Saturday for a few hours. Not sure the times, but I will be there in the morning and have to leave by about 1pm. Not much help. Tell Rich to paddock near Jay Sevier (Burgandy Bug-Eye that runs Jeffer...

Re: Turkey Bowl XI
I'm going to watch. The "Midget" isn't very vintage eligible and I don't have a W2W liscence. I did flag the event one year at turn 1, what a hoot! Had one group of 40 or so Legends cars filling out the schedule- that was an exciting start and scramble into T1! Looking forward to going, m...

Re: Has anyone heard of this place
A group of us from our MG (MG's of Baltimore) club were planning to go sometime in November. Come to think of it, most of the people in MGOB that want to go have run PHA events in the past...hummmm
One date that was kicked around was the 14th.

'09 Hershey HC canceled?
I got a e-mail forwarded to me shown below. Anyone know if this is true? I know a bunch of PHA guys and gals attended this event in past years and some PHA members are also SVVSCC members. Nothing is noted on the SVVSCC website to validate this. SVVSCC Announces The 2009 Hershey Vintage Hillclimb ha...

Re: Polish Mountain Thanks
Had a great time. The star gazing Saturday night was awsome and the course was in great shape. The added access to the paddock worked very well and allowed traffic to flow all day. Too bad we have to wait a whole year to come back :( My video contribution: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=173...

How many tickets come with your registration?
Thanks,

Fred,
I was informed that there is no online registration, so you will have to print this out and snail mail it.

Will there be a online registration for Polish Mtn? Currently it is only linked to a PDF version with the "online" function not linked anywhere.

Re: Sound Control
This site just "lost" my post when it asked me to sign in yet again......so here is the short version. #1 Does BMR or any other host region have existing equipmet that they currently use for wheel-to-wheel club racing since it is required as part of the GCR? If they have it, can we use it ...

Re: Sound Control
I agree – too many rules, but…. Vanilla and Chocolate. Not everyone likes the same thing, that is what makes us different (and why Baskin Robins has 31 flavors!). Just because you think a certain sound is annoying doesn’t make it bad. Some may like it. Same with music and what my parents called “no...

Re: Rose valley videos
I liked that old Mazda comercial - wonder where I could find a copy.... I try to start at 165F water, 150F oil and usually finish at 200F for both. VW's used good radiators that fit in the Midget, and a aux cooler in place of a heater helps, but cooling capacity is maxed out with only about 5 qts of...

Re: Electrical Cut-Off Switch
Covers and insulation are the right thing to use, but when I built my car I was thinking that it doesn't take much to cut through the insulation on the wire if in a wreck. I added a 100 amp circuit breaker just about 3 inches from the battery positive terminal. The breaker was avalible from many car...
