Re: Which Event Best ???

We run Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. Last year on Memorial Day we ran in the clockwise direction, Short course (they didn't have the new long course open). Labor Day we run in the counter clockwise direction and used the new long course for the first time. We run 3 time...

Re: Which Event Best ???

I haven't competed since about 2001, but here's my opinion. I started in an MGB then FV then FF. All of the hills are fun and different. If you have a high power car all will be challenging. The most technical hills: Weatherly or Duryea/Pagoda. Giant's, for low power cars, can get a little slow at t...

Live Timing

If all goes well, we will again be posting times to the internet at Polish Mountain Hillclimb. They will be posted here on the PHA Website. You can get there by clicking on the Live Results on the menu or go to http://pahillclimb.org/live-results/.

Hill Live Timing

We are thinking of doing Live Timing updates at the hills.
We would upload results every so often to an internet site and you would be able to look at the results with you phone or tablet.
If you couldn't make the event, look at them from home.
Take the poll and let use know what you think.

Re: New driver

As far as licensing, you can get your novice license at most events, but it can be a hassle especially at your first event. I would suggest that you get your license and membership before hand. The license app is here: http://scca.cdn.racersites.com/prod/Documents/Club%20Forms/form-tt-ttnovice.pdf T...

Re: Jefferson Expansion

Five or six years ago, we asked the drivers at one of the Jefferson events which they would prefer, all day practice with one or two timed sessions or all day timed sessions. Almost all of the drivers wanted to do it the way we are doing it now. Most of the hillclimb competitors want as many timed r...

Re: Jefferson Expansion

As far as I'm concerned, there will be 2 sets of records, short course and long course. Which ever course that is in use that's the records that would be used.

Re: A Couple Hill Climbing Questions

Jason, The supps are with the entry forms. If you send me your email address I will put you on the email mailing list and you will get all of the entry forms emailed to you. Also I can email you an entry from last year so you can see the supps (they will probably change for this year). If you follow...

Year end video

A few years ago I made a year end video. I'm thinking of doing it again. To do this I need videos and pictures.
For videos, I would like 1 in car from each event and track side videos. Let me know if you have any and where I can go to download them. You will get credit listed on the video.

Another question, is there onsite camping? If not this may impact how many PHA'ers attend.

Re: Snowshoe Hillclimb a PHA Event?

It might be tough otherwise for anyone not coming from Pittsburg to do both Snowshoe and Polish if they were only a week apart (unless we all just stayed down somewhere in the area for the week and made a party out of it :) ). That's my concern. Right now there is 5 weeks between Giant's and Duryea...
