Proposed change for 2012 year end points.

Would like to get some feedback on something I have been thinking about for awhile. As you are all aware our point structure is 10 pts. for first place in class, 9 pts. for second and so on. At the end of the year we add up the points and if you have competed in one more than half of the events the ...

Re: PHA Banquet

I was asked to post this years poem for those that did not attend: Anatomy of a Hill Climber Hill Climbing is a sport, That's extremely old. Famous people have driven, So I've been told. Many drivers have climbed, In the last hundred years. But the reason they do it, Isn't all that clear. I have oft...

Re: Apologies to sponsors on PHA Program, I'm sorry

Linda, apology not needed. Anyone who put on such a great Banquet can't be expected to remember everything. It definitely was not a big deal. My hat goes off to you and John and everyone else who helped make this one of the best Banquets ever. Thank you all for your time and hard work, it indeed was...

Re: RIP Bernie Zeleznock

He took a bunch of pictures of his grand kids in my car at Fall Weatherly. He would always stop and give me a cd of the days events. What a Great Guy. He will indeed be missed by many. He truly was a great supporter of the Weatherly events.

Re: Aircooled Hill Climb race cars

The V looks very much like a Beach Mark 5. With the large tires on the rear, my guess he was running a 1600 or a 2000 cc engine.

Christmas Card List, HELP!

As many of you may know I send Christmas Cards out on behalf of the PHA every year to some special people that allow our events to happen. Mike Lieb, that owns the foundry at Weatherly and allows us to pit on his land. The Hendricks at turn 1 who put up with all the noise. Ruth and Joe Dante at turn...

Re: petite Le Mans

Steve and Jeremy, What a nice way to end a topic that for some reason went down the wrong path. Both of you guys are class acts and I am glad to see you both can set your opinions aside and have a cold one together. I bet we could even twist Mark's arm to join you both. Hell. I'll even supply the Be...

Re: 2011 Class Champions

I would like to personally congratulate all of the 2011 class champions for the 2011 season. More importantly I would like to congratulate all of the drivers for an outstanding season. There were many fine runs made by a ton of drivers that did not finish in first place. There were many records brok...

Re: 2011 Class Champions

John CSP will not change.

Dale did not run Spring Jefferson in CSP and Keith did not run Giants so the points are correct as recorded. Each one throws away their no show. Dale ran in ITS at Jefferson hence he got no points for CSP.
