Re: Duryea Hillclimb Party
I'd be in for the new BBQ - sorry I am just out of touch and don't check the forum with enough regularity. Heck I am game for just about anything - although I missed the past few parties (missed the word of mouth, but no apologies expected.) Also the Datsun was emitting some faint, haunted noises fr...

I'm coming! - I just need to get the logbook updated and the sunscreen packed. No trailer for me this time.

What a great thread. Thank gosh I don't have any real work to do today.

Re: MySpace Page
Darn, I just lost a MySpace friend - and popular I ain't. Thanks to NJ 03Mach1 for the enthusiasm just the same! However I understand the reasoning behind the decision. All that said, I think is a good idea to think about ways to promote the sport to younger upstarts who might represent the future o...

Re: SCCA Stickers
Pretty sure you can also get the Time Trials stickers from the scca.com website. Not it time for Hershey, but they aren't SCCA either (correct me if I am wrong.)

Re: Topton, PA hillclimb
The drawing on the 1968 program (where the heck do you find this cool stuff, Ron) looks like an NSU spyder. If that car ran the event, the apex seals would surely have let go about halfway up the hill. The car could still be there if someone is interested. Dale is well versed when it comes to old Wa...

I like the maintain-your-own-profile idea whether it is through a subforum or other means.
And whats one more profile? With Myspace, LinkedIn, Facebook, Stalker.com etc. I am becoming an authority on setting up these profile things...

Re: Electrical Cut-Off Switch
Yeah, don't remind me. My head still aches from inhaling the fumes of burnt electrical-grade varnish and vinyl insulation! Of course this is sage advice on how simple details can prevent catastrophic situations. On my cutoff switch I routed the wires through grommets where it goes through the body a...

Re: Spring Jefferson
My only gripe with running the opposite direction on Sunday is that I only have one gear in reverse, and the roadster is going to run out of revs real fast on the straight. Plus some formula cars don't have reverse gears at all. Seriously though, I would vote for the CW / CCW swap during the event. ...

Cool, so we know the driver and the spectator. But is that a Lions Head or a Stegmaier!?

Kudos Ron, great post.
