Re: Impact Racing Product Recall
Not gonna complain about it yet Rich. Last time I checked the weight change did not effect the '79 to '93 FOX Mustangs unless over 313 cubic inches and/or changing to the aluminum Edelbrock heads.

Re: 2009 Rolex 24hr Daytona
Yeah I can't wait to hear what happened to the Fords. They should have been using the new generation "hurricane" motor but I am not sure. I know the last generation DOHC 4v engines in the Mustangs are total junk for any kind of track use. The 4v engines have a problem with the oil staying ...

Re: 2009 Rolex 24hr Daytona
I was watching the race on TV and Davids crew chief told him to switch to the reserve as he crossed the line. In the interview after the race he did not mention running out of fuel. But I was not there and you might have inside info.

Re: ITE
Wait a minute, ITE is a Roadracing class. As was stated before it is a catch all for roadracing. Why try to butcher it just so street cars fit? There is already "catch all" classes for hillclimbs. We don't want to match up roadrace cars with "weak" records in the same class as au...

Re: Classing Idea For Big Bore SP Cars
I say again,,,,look at the times and records from as far back as you can. AS fits in with the times and records of BSP/ESP. You know I just thought of something. As it sits right now the only way someone can hope to be competitive in ESP is to go out and buy a used $15,000+ Mustang Mach 1 or Camaro....

Re: Classing Idea For Big Bore SP Cars
There should be nothing that needs to be changed in order to fit in. Each class will still follow the respective rules for their class. There will not be cars that are hybrids between SP and A-Sedan. If PHA rules did not offer American Sedan as a class and somebody showed up with one they would be p...

Re: Classing Idea For Big Bore SP Cars
I am not looking to form a new class. What I would like to propose would be to put ESP and American Sedan into BSP. Before I get the ball rolling with the proposal I would like comments from any of the drivers who would be affected by the change. Alot of us frequent this site but if you know someone...

Classing Idea For Big Bore SP Cars
Are there any opinions for or against putting BSP and ESP back together (like it used to be for Hillclimbs) and adding American Sedan (Camaro's, Mustangs, Firechickens) class cars to the mix? An American Sedan car is classed into BSP for Solo2. Of coarse the cars will still have to follow the rules ...

Re: Turkey Bowl XI
Great Job Rich!! So which one of Daves cars are you going to buy and race? I am sure if you talk price with Kate you can get a great deal on any of them,,,,LOL. In my second drivers school I blew a radiator hose going INTO the chute. I spun around a few times and ended up broadside in the middle of ...

I use M & R Belts. They reweb and re-certify their belts for $30.00. ( I am pretty sure that is what I paid last time). Check out www.mrproducts.com for info.

Re: BMR Event Discounts
12 points???? Where are the classes that allow 12 points? In American Sedan we need to have 8 points and you cannot add any more attachment points to the chassis.

Re: Hill / Class Records
I have always thought that if a record was set then it should be backed up in the same weekend. Maybe not the very next run but sometime throughout the weekend. Every time it has been talked about though the buzzkill has been, what if it rains before the next attemp or what if it is the last run of ...

Re: Hill / Class Records
Not that there is anything wrong with being Gay,, but I agree with Mark Maybe if I would have started out in autocross I might look at it different. But I tried to do it after running hills and I was bored. I don't know how that can be "fun" after running a hill.
