Larry,

WOW, nice daughter and Christmas present. Both are real keepers. Good luck with the car, you should get plenty of runs in with the Miata.

Sue, How could you forget our el presidente, Tom Knorr? Doug Gutekunst, Jim Irons, Charlie Beidler, George and Daphne Heide, Glenn Snavely, Harry McMasters. I am sure that Whitely is number 1 followed by Gutekunst. I never did understand why SCCA dropped the class, back in the day it was one of the ...

Thor,

I always thought a 2 man bobsled looked more like a vee.
The course did get modified, using the women's start line and added a wall as the crash site. Still one of the fastest courses in the world.

Re: NJMP PDX Instructors and Drivers Wanted

If you plan on getting a RR license, I would try to enter the NJMP school then, do the Summit school. Most cases, they will not pass you at the first school and usually the next school in Nediv is at the Glen at the end of season or the fall Summit school. By that time the whole RR season is done an...

Re: dagone snow....da*n!

Grace, Ok, I see your point. Maybe you need Pioneer and Morton pole builders to make a huge garage. As far as Morg, a nice cold Bud will cheer him up. I heard that he is installing a cigarette lighter in the Vee to go faster using some left over McLaren F1 KERS technology. At each event, he is going...

Re: dagone snow....da*n!

Grace, What you need is a mobile meth lab on wheels(enclosed trailer). Craigslist is loaded with them. A lot cheaper than a new garage(buildwise and taxwise) and can go anywhere you want it. Great for storage, hotel, build a race car, etc. Get one with a massive generator loud enough to wake Morg up ...

Re: Ok Rich....Give me an "E"....

Thanks Dave, I am sure that if, he was still alive that he would appreciate those comments. The car wasn't competive as a Production car, so my Dad added a LeMans kit to the car and ran as a D Mod. D Mod had so, few entries that sometimes he would get Bill Weaver to run his TR3 in D Mod so, they wou...

Ron, Nice shot of Jeff Michael, I especially love the blue 83 Audi 4000 in the background! It is free to anyone that can drag it out of the my driveway. Charlie Beidler incorporated the PHA with the Commonwealth of PA in 1963 in Doylestown, PA as the then, current PHA president, he was also a former...

Not to shabby, Lloyd is the best of the MGB EP3 drivers, Hock is the best of the TR3 EP2 drivers, with Paul and Dad the best of the Porsche EP1 drivers, Seiple gets the nod for modern drivers. Very interesting, btw did my Dad score any EP wins with the 100-4?

Sue, As far as I know Fred Livezey is still kicking. He was at one time was Philly's RE and newletter editor. I last saw him about 5 years ago to clean out his remaining Fvee parts(mostly unusable), the Alpine was sold to a vintage racer down south. The photo that Ron has must be an earlier car that...

The picture of my brother, Paul is in George Frey's car. They co-drove that car for 4 seasons after my Dad rolled Paul's car at Weatherly in 67(the body was hung in the rafters at Kressge's shop in Bethlehem, PA). My parents then, bought the car that you saw earlier in this topic for $500 minus an e...

Thanks, Ron. I take a few days off the forums to do some real work or try to do real work and you hit me with EP. Tuesday, Foreman gets F550 stuck in mud. Foreman tries to pull F550 out of mud with chain tied off to the tie rod. Foreman wonders why the right wheel is turning right and left wheel is ...

Hillclimb car at Motorsports show

Spent about 4 hours this evening touring the Motorsports show in Oaks, PA( same complex as Arnold's Karting). Mostly oval track and drag racing stuff except for 1 formula ford and a formula B ( er, 1000) they have the Schultz- Cadilliac Special sitting in the Langhorne Speedway reunion section that ...
