Directions from Reading to Weatherly?
Coming home from Weatherly last year i followed some people to Reading and their way was very quick and direct and of course i cant remember how we did it. Mapquest says: 61N right onto 895 left onto 443 309 N Right onto Ben Titus Rd Ben Titus turns into Quakake Quakake becomes Brenkman Brenkman bec...

Re: How was timing done back in the day
Cool stuff, i was just curious about the older technology. So they would still run the electrical wires up the hills and the pnuematic triggers would start and stop the clock. I am assuming that only one car could be on the hill at a time with this setup. When did we switch from the pnuematic trigge...

How was timing done back in the day
I was just looking over some of these old pictures and was wondering how timing was accomplished throughout the years. Im assuming electronics were used pretty far back, early 60s? What was before that, a stop watch with a long string that went to the top of the hill? Were multiple cars on the hill ...

Re: SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!
Well i left for a cross country trip the day after the derby and just got back. Man what a hoot. It rained the entire day which slowed people down and caused people to get stuck knocking them out of the race prematurely. The mud also completley ruined my good race helmet and nomex gloves, thank god ...

Re: EXTRA CASH ANYONE
Darnit...Not being rich is preventing me from participating in another awesome experience. This really is a good concept though. If this was a true reality show, you would take a poor to average wannabe racer (me) and put him against the rich guys who can afford the entry fee. IF it is succesful you...

Re: What class would an Audi A4 1.8T
Insurance gave me more than 8k for it, and they want a bit over 2k to buy back, so i wanted about 2500 for it so i can make a few bucks. But i think they are taking it away today so oh well. How much of a problem would it be if i kept my ECU, its aftermarket and i can sell it. And i am not too happy...

Re: What class would an Audi A4 1.8T
Where is the ITE thread. The insurance company wants too much money for me to buy back the car. They say since it was a rear ended low milage good condition car that its worth a lot salvage. So i guess im not making a racecar, damnit. If anyone wants it for 2500 bucks before monday they can have it....

Re: What class would an Audi A4 1.8T
Thanks Dave, I Think i get it now. I think i saw somewhere that the A4 is G stock in Solo but PHA rules would override that because of the turbo thing and bump it to SM. Well running stock would just be embarrassing in SM. Is there a limit to the size of turbo you may use in SM, if not there might s...

What class would an Audi A4 1.8T
My street car was recently rear ened by a cell phone talking, not paying attenion, SUV bLeeping person!!!! I am waiting for the insurance stuff to go through, but i am pretty sure its totalled. But.. it still runs and drives awesome and a rear bumper and turnk lid would make it look acceptable, so i...

Re: Polish Mountain Hillclimb August 2&3
This is my first year, and Giants blew me away, especially the independance day antics. I live 15 min from Reading and have been to Pagoda and Duryea the last few years and i do not understand why nobody goes to them. REading is TWICE as large as Wilkes-barre and almost no one comes to the hillclimb...
