Oops, checked the forum too late today. I did just receive directions in a PM, which were exactly what I was looking for. See you there.

Giant's directions

I've convinced Keith that he wants to do Giant's next weekend, so we're planning to be there :). Maybe the new wheels will arrive next week... Anyway, I couldn't find a link anywhere to directions for either the hill or the Sam's Club where tech is Friday night. Does anyone have an address? Thanks! ...

Well, you can never have too many sets of wheels or tires (which explains why my basement looks like a wheel and tire warehouse ;) )... My problem with most of the 13x7's I've looked at is that they don't clear the calipers unless spaced out really far. But if you feel like bringing one wheel, we ca...

On the 13x7 wheels I was going to run the Goodyear G19 Sport's Car Special in the 2nd softest compound all around -- the R250 in 20.0X9.5-13. But I still need to put the wheels on the car and see what I have clearance for as far as tires go. The wheels are now not due in until 6/30 though (the wheel...

Looks like Hoosiers it is then, unless my 13" wheels arrive in time! Thanks.

Tires

I was wondering if autocross tires are usable for hillclimbs? Assuming it's dry -- I'm planning to run my car (with 2 drivers) at Pagoda, and I have a choice of Hoosier AS304's, with a couple of autocross events on them, or Kumho Victoracer V700's, with a couple of track events on them from the prev...

That is only a few miles from my parent's house (in Shillington).

Thanks everyone! I'm looking forward to next weekend (a year and a half later after using hillclimbs as an excuse for picking up another Scirocco :) ).

Thanks! That link was what I needed. We are both SCCA members. We'll just fill the novice license applications out at the event.

Do you have an address for the sears auto center? I am a little familar with the area, but don't know where Berkshire Mall is.

novice permit

I've been planning to make Pagoda my first hillclimb, and have even managed to talk my husband into it. The car is ready; has been ready for some time (silver '86 VW Scirocco for anyone that remembers it from the BMR autocross events last winter). But I've managed to procrastinate on the novice perm...
