***NOVICES***
Attention novices Starting with Fall Weatherly, all novices must show up for the novice meeting wearing their gear and having their cars up at the start line ready to go. This means it must be in race condition: Gear ready, tech inspection completed and preferably (for your peace of mind) warmed up...

113.3sec @ Duryea - '04 Mach 1
Well, finally uploaded and settled. Sorry that the camera angle is pointed a little far to the left but I was adjusting while on grid and I moved it too far. Oh well. You'll see a LOT of mistakes which is why I am certain this is a 110 car there. Finish line speed was 147. Shift light was set at 630...

Giants 46.1
Well, I didn't get a perfect run this weekend. It was one thing or another. This run wasn't bad except there was a HUGE missed shift into 3rd heading up to turn 1. The run was 46.1. So you can calculate how much wasted time there was and what the time may have been. Coulda, should, woulda, doesn't w...

Awesome driver
Before you get your panties in a bunch 'cause you think this post is about me, take a deep breath. This is to give cudos to Dan Reed. If ya weren't paying attention, he lowered the SSM record at Giants Despair to a BLAZING 45.0. We all know Dan can drive a mustang.....and its been obvious he transit...

Re: Hill Live Timing
I like the live update idea. BUT, maybe not for those at the hill. If you're close to your competitor, isn't it more fun to watch him/her RUN to the board to check the last time you ran? Then again, if you're really close, you'll know how he/she is doing by how far they launch their phone across the...

Pagoda 2014 1st run
Well, I only in-car'd 1 run and that was my worst, driving on ice and taunting the guardrail in Oh S... Tires would not stick very well, as you can see. I wasn't flat out of any corner but the car was trying to go sideways everywhere. If nothing else, I should be happy I turned an 84sec run without ...

Congrats
A big congrats for awesome driving by Bryan Fritzler at the 2014 Pagoda hillclimb!! Between him, Bob and Merlin, they had me pushing pretty hard to try and get close. But it didn't happen. So I want to thank you guys for being a hell of a benchmark.

Re: New Time Trials Rules
Jeremy I've been the Asst RE for BMR for several years now. I haven't found any issues with someone becoming an official. Its more a factor of having people VOLUNTEER to be an official. While I haven't focused on the operations portion of the new rules, I don't see the difficulty in becoming an offi...

Re: New Time Trials Rules
With a little more 'tweaking' of the rules.....I think a chin strap attached to my hard hat may qualify as an alternative to my dangerous, confusing, vision obstructing full face helmet. AND, I can choose which standard to follow regarding SFI/FIA rating due to dating. These are available at many ha...

Re: New Time Trials Rules
Keith, I'm confused. How is losing 2 SS brake lines relevant to the rule change or level of risk?

Re: New Time Trials Rules
I don't know much about belts and helmets regarding dates and degradation. That will be left to the experts. I am severely conflicted with the rule change regarding roll bars/cages. While I agree on the PDX/Track trials side, I am unsure whether or not I agree with it on the hillclimb side. We are n...

Re: Spring Weatherly
Well, I got the one from Melling and after speaking to a buddy of mine, it's going back. I ordered the TSS oil pump. Probably the same as the MMR one. Sounds like they are probably the same or close to it. So, I'll rebuild and come back with more hp with the option of additional if need be. Probably...

Spring Weatherly
Well, where do I start. It was a nice event. The weather was beyond perfect on Sunday. So the performance of the Mach should have been way better than it was. I'm still not sure what the motor was doing when I was driving but I certainly know what it did on Nancy's last run. Those of you who saw her...

Re: New tires
Well, I gotta say that the R1S is as good as a Hoosier. We will know for sure at Weatherly. The only draw back to the R1S is the weight. They are heavier than an A6. Apparently, in the size I use, they are 4lbs heavier per tire but I have not weighed them. That is a statistic off the Tire Rack site....
