Re: A Couple Hill Climbing Questions

Yes you will need to join the SCCA and get your novice permit. Also drivers suit/jacket and pants(3.2/5) rating if memory serves me right. Arm restaints, min of 5point harness, gloves. You can upgrade springs and shocks and sway bars. With the tires, can you step down to 19's. I beleive you still ha...

Re: New Time Trials Rules

Now thats funny. It is a good idea. I could cut the full cage out of my car and stop banging my head on the halo everytime I get out. It would also save some valuable weight so I could go faster. Then again I don't think they would let race with out it with my history :P

Re: A Couple Hill Climbing Questions

ESP is the lowest class your car would fit in based on your mods. I know what kind of times these turned going straight so it is just a matter of going around turns. Tires are the biggest help here. Yes the rollbar needs a diagonal. Idealy this would be in the main hoop going from drivers side top t...

Re: New Time Trials Rules

So far the number of people commenting on this topic is very small compared to the number of racers we have in PHA. Those that care should attend the meeting on Saturday too voice your concerns and see where this goes. I'm not ready to jump off a bridge yet. I am sure a relitively fair outcome will ...

Re: 2013 Pagoda Hillclimb

Hi, it is Donna not Mikey (the other Robinson tree lover).... I wanted to thank the workers for the quick response time and to all the drivers for the concern after the incident on Saturday afternoon. PHA is definitely a great family to have around you. See you all at Giants.

Re: Magnetic Material for running multiple numbers

The stuff I used came from my local sign shop. As long as their is not a lot of bondo on the panal you are using it should be fine at that speed. Mine was good. The bigger you can make it, the better it will stick.
