Re: Hey eveyone new to hill climbs 1988 RX7 GN 3.8.....
It will be great to see you out. I saw that you knew the guys from DSG when they were making the restrictor. You can run special or actually ITE would be allowed.I'd stick with special. I kno that with Bill and Alex showing up and the usual PHA fast guys that special is going to be fun! Can't run I...

Re: Giants Newspaper Coverage
Very funny thread! Minimum weight on a RWD SM car is 2400lb's, Who is close? My car is 300lb's overweight on the 2700lb AWD weight, and 100-150hp down on power. I will just sit back and wait. My SM records are still all there! :P FTD takes a huge combo of things to get. That is why its such a huge a...

Re: CLimb to the clouds
I do appoligize. I had no reception on the phone and it seemed like we were busy the whole time. (It didn't help that we needed 7 hours to get the car back in driving shape) I will hopefully do a full writeup soon. I will tell you that this is the most unbelievable hillclimb you could ever imagine. ...

Thanks! I'm glad i will see a few familiar faces there.
Fun is the number one goal! If i'm fast thats great. But, if not i'm happy to be racing up the hill.
Have fun at Pagoda everyone.

Re: SCCA SOLO II is F KED UP
At least Steet Mod is a class that will basically never change. I think records are a good indication of what people have done on a course in the past. 8) . Don't just look at a certain class record and think that if you have it, you rock. Looks around and see what other cars and classes have done i...

Re: Tire Heat Cycling
Keith, I believe those are more street tires and i'm not sure you need to heat cycle street tires. (At least those were the Street tire to have for auto-x 6 or so years ago and i dont recal any heat cycling recomendations). Maybe Joe Specht could shed some light on that?

Re: MR2 Classing for PHA events
Like Dave said i have no idea about Mr2's. I posted what Glenn sent me! So, a few things. First, we cannot change classing rules that are national classes. If your car is in BSP nationally then that is where you are going to run. That is unless PHA decided to form a (hillclimb CSP class , were we ma...

Re: MR2 Classing for PHA events
Okay, i recieved an email from Glenn. I'm sure he will post when he gets a chance but from what he is telling me. The First and second gen non-turbo, Spyder and Supercharged MR2 all go into CSP! The turbo goes into BSP! unless the turbo is modified then it goes into SSM. http://www.scca.com/document...

Re: MR2 Classing for PHA events
FIrst off i'm confused about putting them both on the same line in the book? Does this mean that you can build your NA MR2 into the turbo version? If not i'm confused as to why moving them to BSP is good if they are not even competetive in CSP? You really just have to run in what ever class your car...

Re: Time Trials Classing
I agree about that being a confusing statement. Altho, i'm not sure that is what's confusing IT or production drivers. Its a statement for cars that dont fall into IT or production.
