Re: 30 turns, 2.7 miles, under 3 minutes

No gloves, and in the rain! Always a pleasure to watch you drive. And to think, Matt Rowe drives all the way down here to hillclimb..

That looks like a hard course to memorize, how many runs did you get and was it on street tires or slicks?

Re: ESP Mustang strut tower brace

The ESP rules do state on the spec line: Mustang (‘94-’04) all NOC including Cobra, Cobra R (SN95) . However, if I am correct, the Cobra cannot be included in this rule due to the fact that it's supercharged and it has to get moved into SM. STB's are free if I am correct. The Cobra R is not superch...

Re: Quick and easy Question.

Well, I can't speak for Rose Valley, having never been there, but Duryea's pits are on the street and it's the same street as the starting line, so she should be fine there. You could probably throw a helmet on her head and a number on both sides of the chair and send her up for a few runs in street...

Re: Duryea Hillclimb Entry

Thanks Nelson.

And Dave, great idea. The announcer is a very nice, professional touch that keeps spectators "in the know" and excited about each car, driver and the important runs. They all do a great job, and Mike sounds like he belongs on Speedvision, right next to Dave Despain!

Re: Numbers

Back in the day and at least through the early '70s, your novice permit number WAS your car number until your novice requirements were satisfied, then you could run your number of choice. I still have my novice permit number 661. I forget who was five permits after me!?! I hope he/she survived! (An...

Adam, Put the metal loops (the tail part) for your shoulder straps through the metal loops in your arm restraint hoops (the tail part), then slide the loops for your shoulder straps and submarine belt onto the lap belt clip. This will keep the lap belt clip from getting "overcrowded" and a...
