Re: Classfication Question
Kurt, I would be willing to help on classing but I think it would help to have multible people on this. Brake up the classes into groups and have one or two people per class group. That way they could become "experts" on those classes and those classes only. I think it's too many classes f...

Re: Classfication Question
Kurt, I am looking at "solo" rule as this is the only place I have been able find StreetMod. I was under the assumpstion this class as well as other solo classes are allowed provided all safety maesures are met. My camaro is StreetMod. If I am wrong or giving false info, please let me know...

Re: Classfication Question
Hey Morg, For fear of starting another 4 page rant, StreetMod is legal for the rear swap. Trans, driveshaft, rear are totally open. Point your friend to that part of the rules to make sure anything else done to car is ok. "rollbar" only is OK for SM also. Looking forward to seeing your new...

Re: Very interested in getting behind the wheel!
So I just went over the rules again, I think it would be easier to crack german WWII code with out the enigma machine. No wonder people have such a hard time with this! It looks like it still depends on what class your car falls into. A word from one of our tech inspectors would really help here. Jus...

Re: Mach rebuild under way
Ok, I got some copper line and wrapped around my camaro's exhaust header and back .Now when I want hot water I just fire up the car and presto...HOT water. I also tapped my house fuse box into the car's alternator. PP&L wants to know why my electric bill is so low? I guess I have time to work on...

Re: Mach rebuild under way
It's drives me nuts to pay good money for parts that I have spend extra time on to modify just to make them work.
After Steve's car is done, I get to do it all over again on our car. Must do water heater for house first....allways something!!

Re: Very interested in getting behind the wheel!
Frist, Welcome to our world! Now as far as your rollbar goes, looks like you still need a diagonal bar on the main hope going from top drivers side down to bottom pass. side. Otherwise seems ok based on your picture. Make sure your fire ext. is all metal (no plastic parts at all) your gutted int. wi...

Re: New to Hillclimbing
ok your both wrong....361,383,400 are B-engines. 413,426,440 are RB-engines (RAISED BLOCK) (WEDGE) 426-HEMI was also part of RB series.
Steve is also correct that there is no engine size limit, just has to match manufacture.
