Re: Rally class vehicle compliance and tech inspection
I will put something together and post it here in a couple of weeks. Just don't hold your breath.

Re: Rally class vehicle compliance and tech inspection
I have no idea who was on the "committee" that initially wrote the rally rules. But I certainly think they should be reviewed and updated. And at least one "rally" person should be involved. I will volunteer myself to be involved if this happens.

Rally class vehicle compliance and tech inspection
Jeremy, in the thread on ITE/classing of street legal “swapped” cars mentioned “We also wrote the rally rules. Did anyone check those cars for compliance?” This is something that has bugged me for some time but I’ve never raised the issue since it was usually only us Kennedys running in the class. A...

Re: Where to find the supps for 2014
I've seen sites, that when all else fails. have a link at the bottom (don't remember what they usually call it) that has descriptions and links that point to every first or second level directory entry. It can get to be a large list but has been helpful to me in the past. My $.02 YMMV

Long course is my vote. What ever it takes to make it work. (also didn't realize this was a survey).

Re: Course maps?
Thanks. But this is what I love about web sites and todays "programmers/designers". I've been in IT/MIS/DP all my life (46 years) as everything including a system designer. If the link at the top was added with about PHA and it included the correct way to get to course maps, the large box ...

Course maps?
They used to be on the web site. But I can't find them now. Are they still there somewhere? Can someone point me to them. Thanks.

Re: Fall Weatherly questions?
Interesting question. Think of it this way. Is there a rule that says a rookie must take every run that's made available to them? What would be the difference between taking only 1 or 2 runs each day, or taking all the runs (assuming 4 or more) on only one day? Food for thought. Inquiring minds want...

Re: Entry lists for Hillclimb events.
Thanks for posting the entry list Saturday morning. I saw several people look at it Saturday. And of course Sunday alot of people looked because it had Saturdays times on it. And once, when walking past the Skyline volunteer collecting donations, I heard a specatator ask if there was a list anywhere...

What is the procedure for suggesting changes to the supps? I'd like to propose some changes/tightening up of the rally class in the supps.

Re: Entry lists for Hillclimb events.
I'm going to break my vow of silence because many of you aren't making any sense. You don't want to make any changes, everything is just fine the way you've been doing things in recent years. Interesting. All I'm asking for is an entry list to be posted sometime Saturday morning, doesn't even need t...

Re: Entry lists for Hillclimb events.
Perhaps a good compromise is to ask Nelson to print out one copy of the registration list on Saturday morning to hang on the board where he posts the time slips. Or maybe someone will volunteer to take this on for all future events, and can coordinate with the registrar and chief of timing (aka Nel...

Re: Entry lists for Hillclimb events.
Were those 100 copies obvious to the person registering? Did the person doing the registration offer them, point out they were there? Was there a sign above them saying Entry list here? Could they have been enclosed in the packet (even at the time the packet was handed to the competitor). Or were th...

Entry lists for Hillclimb events.
Why does hillclimbing seem to want to not encourage its competitors to get to know each other? Granted, I’m not a very outgoing and social person. But I know I’m not the only one. I don’t know what happens in road racing, SCCA, NASA, Chump car, or any other series, etc. But in the rallying world whe...

(Unless I'm mistaken) I see you're entered in the Sno*Drift rallye. Good luck and don't forget, to finish first you must first finish. That white stuff can be very slippery, particularly the stuff under the white stuff.

Maybe not vent. But aren't there some thing that the "public" should know about?dspgti wrote: I for one will try to take Tom Knorr’s advice (repeated for the second time) and try to not vent my opinions on a public forum and handle things on a little more private nature.
