Ron,
Just to keep you up to date: As of Saturday Aug.16, George is only 2/10 off the overall record at Duryea. He only made two passes, although I lobbied for a third run. Conditions are SO GOOD. Perhaps the best in over a decade. High of 80 degrees and 45 % humidity. Come up tomorrow.

Without you...Ron....to stir the pot, we would all be less interested in this forum. With so many at Polish Mt, the pool is smaller.
Please keep up the good effort and we all promise to help more in the next few weeks.

Re: Polish Mountain Hillclimb August 2&3
North Carolina law requires that if you live in NC or SC, you have to run the NC events. So Ted is at Eagles Nest Hillclimb on Polish weekend as law requires. I escaped the state before they start checking credentials next week. I will no doubt be fined when I get back, but I have to defend my Polis...

Actually, I am here at the hill, so the pits are officially open. Pavement in perfect shape and lots of grip. Come one....come all.

Now I will date myself....I bought one of these in 1966 from a farmer in Soda Springs, Idaho. It had about 5,000 miles on it and he had run it down his 5 mile dirt driveway without an air cleaner for about two years or so....I can't remember what year it was. It was lacking in compression as you can...

Re: Spring Jefferson
Keep it the way it has been run. It is a very successful event and should not be changed for that very reason. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Re: Who has dogs!?
The most interesting race dog I ever saw was Shempi, a Sheltie owned by Davie and Joyce Looman of autocross fame. She knew about 100 words and would do about anything for Davie. One day at Nationals in Kansas, we were playing a game with her very similar to pitching pennies. We would command her to ...

Re: Thoughts of a new Season
We in the South are thinking of you, Who are so cold you often turn blue. With the temp at nearly 70 today, We’re doing burnouts in our driveway. While you guys are thinking bout shoveling snow, We are all grilling our steaks really slow. We also are anxious to get to a track, So next week it off to...

Driver Suit Patches
I was told at the Polish Mt Hilllcimb that I needed an SCCA patch on my drivers suit. I can not find the rule in the TT Rules and need to know what patch is required. An SCCA Wheel? A standard SCCA patch of some kind? Anyone know?
