Re: Evilly Delicious!
And maybe I am crazy. Really???? We will leave it at that! lol! Actually, when Chuck and I were road racing, as with hillclimbing, fixes to cars can occur throughout the night. That's called racing! It is another part of the sport that holds my heart and private areas...the perserverance of racers ...

Evilly Delicious!
Stevil, CONGRATULATIONS on beating Dan!!! Now you know that I do love Dan as I do you, but damn, you did it!! Both of you hold my racing heart when you drive by a corner I'm working. You both are great drivers who push and drive it to the proverbial edge. BTW, was this an evil first or hav...

Larry, Ding, ding, ding! (SAAB sound affect  ) You win the prize! However, there is no prize. (There is no prize, kind of like Duryea when I found out I was one of 5 being considered for a job I applied for, out of a field of 40 people who applied for the job. During the interview I was told I ...

Ask Mare to tell you just HOW well her rabbit in Dennisville liked cats. Sue OK, I'll bite! Actually it was Reeds Beach, NJ and I only had 2 cats at the time. "Friends" (I'll be rewriting the definition of that word! lol!) brought me this rabbit since they knew I liked the little fuzz bom...

Re: Duryea Rescue
Kurt, I grew up having 2 house rabbits, both named "Pooka". One replaced the other, but I can offer a few tips, helpful if you never have had a rabbit, especially if it will be a house rabbit. 1. They can be litter trained. My family designed a frame using three (3) 2" x 4" piece...

Re: Duryea waiting lines
This results in very long stints trapped in the starting lines along pit lane. I, like many run a formula car. It was never meant to idle for long periods nor can it easily be shut off and repeatedly restarted without killing the battery. Several times I made runs on seven or less cylinders because...

Stevil, + 3 Days now! Well, yesterday we were without power for 10 hours due to the storm, then the power went off again this morning, but only for a brief time. Nothing like the poor souls in Vermont, New Jersey, etc. experienced. Also sad news about a gentleman who Keith Bower knew from his campgr...

Stevil, Thanks! Had a nice day yesterday......I still feel like I'm 18.....problem is no 18 year old would have me! Hell, an 18 year old would be too much work.......ah, but what fun to train! 8) Then again, today's 18 year olds way more experienced in soooooooo many more things than we were...

Re: PHA Logo
Chuck Christ who coordinated the purchase of the most recent run of PHA decals? I will ask Chuck about this. He's in the garage right now working on a customer’s '77 Vette. I know the person who did the PHA decals was Frank Clarici's dad. Frank recently passed away , he was an icon in the Spridget ...

Re: PHA Logo
It is modern, has a clean look and user friendly. the minuscule PHA logo in the top left corner . Dale, Perhaps you read too fast. I'm not looking for an old fashioned website with the PHA logo used as wallpaper, rather just the current PHA logo being made larger. The original image is not very sha...

PHA Banquet Funding
Is the PHA Banquet having funding issues? I know the PHA did get the final tab reduced at the last banquet due to some problems with the Holiday Inn. However, this does not mean things are well in banquet world. I'm asking this due to an email I received from Norma Oswald requesting cans be saved so...

Re: PHA Logo
I guess no one cares about the new website having the minuscule PHA logo in the top left corner which you need a magnifying glass to decipher. If that is the case, perhaps we should not be required to place 2 PHA logo stickers on our race cars.

Re: Good to see everyone
Sorry we weren’t there to work as we had planned. We had seen a lot of PHA folks at Import Carlisle the previous weekend when were out with the Central Penn Saab Club. We kept on saying, “See ya there!”. Chuck and I were supposed to go to Jefferson, but Mother Nature changed things for us. We were w...

PHA Logo
First off, the new website is great! It is modern, has a clean look and user friendly. The only suggestion/comment I have is regarding the PHA logo. The PHA logo was an integral part of old the website. The logo visually depicts hillclimbing and was clearly identifiable on the old website. The PHA l...

Noise?????? Hmmmmmmm.....and the SAAB only ran once at that track! lol! SOBs, what did the locals think they were getting when a race track was approved, a quaint place to hold clam bakes in the summer?? Ya know, it's just like when housing developments are built next to farms, "Oh, honey, what...

Re: Alternate to Rose Valley? OR: Hey, Larry!
Being an ex-Jersey girl. God bless the Jersey State Police. In this day and age of terrorism and other homegrown and international crap, it is far more important for police to spend more time getting the "bad guys" with WMD's than speeders and such. Let us racers play, we are not the threa...

Are you doing the usual "display" of race cars too? If so, do you have enough cars, do you need some more, or same old, same old???

Gumball! 8) Unfortunately we will not be coming....driveway a sheet of ice and "stuff" still falling from the sky. We were really looking forward to seeing everyone and getting the heck out of "Dodge", thus relieving some cabin fever. This weather sucks. Funny thing is, by time t...
