Wikipedia Hillclimbing updated

I just happened to look at Hillclimbing on Wikipedia site. Many event times were very old and Chimney Rock table was messed up. I updated it the best I could with all new "Bowland" times and anything else I noticed. If anyone else sees anything that needs updating post here I'll fix it. Ke...

Re: Spring Jefferson

The weather on Saturday looks great and Sunday afternoon is only a 20% chance of showers which is great! Should be a perfect event! I hope you all have a great time and throw one into the Esses for me!

RIP Bernie Zeleznock

Weatherly Hill Climb lost a great friend and honorary member last week. RIP Bernie Zeleznock. He was always at our events, with his cameras and his smile. Trophies wouldn't even be handed out to the drivers on Sunday and he would be there with his copies of his CD's for everyone of all the weekend a...

Re: 2011 Fall Jefferson Circuit Track Trial

You may notice that checks for entry to this event are payable to PHA. Its a bit of a long story but the bottom line is that PHA is "on the hook" for this event. If this event loses money, PHA loses money. Please do your part to prevent that from happening . Rich Rock PHA VP Wow, now I've...

Re: PHA Logo

Hi all, Is anyone working on the missing image of PHA logo here in the forum? The address link to image needs to be changed to where it is located. I have a webhosting server business for the past couple of years too. I would be happy to host PHA website at no cost to the organization if you so choo...

Re: Crow Mountain

I just got a call about this and still can’t believe it. Rich was such a great guy I can’t even express my sadness. He was a generous man who supported hill climbing whenever he could. His Company CoolShirt sponsored many many events in the south and even in the north. He was a sponsor in PHA Team s...

Weatherly Hill Climb has gone WIDE!

Weatherly Hill Climb has been improved! Not only will your lines and turn in points be all messed up but you should be able to pull 1-2 secs faster times if you use the whole road. The shoulders are much wider and in most turns it looks like a good foot to 18” gain on each side of the road, some spo...

Re: Start line - Giants

MrEvil, My car weighed 4200 lbs. I have been watching your car for a couple years now and you have a great car. Your Mustang has much more power and prep then mine ever did. I drove the pants off my old stang but power is one thing it never had alot of. Of course every car type like formulas and sed...

Re: Start line - Giants

MrEvil, I raced a Mustang GT (stock 130k miles) for years and must also say the chocks are the least of your worries for gaining timing. The rat tail chock and is like Matt said, it’s just there to help you from having to heal toe the start. If it wasn’t there you would have rolled down the line pro...

Hi all,

Yep looks like an SR 351 which is not bad looking on that car. I would leave it on as long as the paint and everything looks good.

Re: Duryea Surprise

HI Stan and everyone, Thanks bud, I miss all of you guys too. Been very busy the last year building my concessions truck and now work 7 days a week! We are doing well and I have plans to build my own hill climber that may be finished by the end of next year (wishful thinking). I wish I had more free...

Re: Homologation for Specials

Hi all, As Rich said in his post homologation is not needed in a Solo2 Mod class and or needed in Time Trials as a Special Class. Only production formula and Sports Racers prior to 1993(?) needed to be homologated by SCCA because crash testing data was not done on on those cars. Homologation papers ...
