Re: PHA stability
That is still a valid topic. Fuel prices are coming down, but the economy is not doing well, so we may lose some entries for next year. I am doing my best to bring new blood into "cult". We could have 10 people coming from Pittsburgh to the hills next year. That is the first thing we can d...

FIA 5 point harness
I know that an FIA harness is legal for road racing for 5 years. A regular harness is only good for 2 years road racing, but we honor it for 5 years. Is an FIA harness also only good for 5 years in hillclimbing? Thanks

Re: I have A Legit Question.
I have mixed feelings about getting TV coverage at the hills. I don't want to see drivers coming to the hills to try to get on TV. Many of the wrecks on the hills happen because an ego gets in the way of reality. Fabio will be the first one to tell you that he was too cocky that first event, which c...

Re: Duryea Updates
The free food at registration is awesome. I barely have enough money to pay my tolls to/from Pittsburgh, so getting free food is much appreciated. Thanks BMR!

Re: Duryea Hillclimb Party
I get Sue's point, but to me, a party is a party. Even a bad party can be fun because you can make fun of it while you are there and afterwards. But as Sue sort of said, a party is not where or what it is, but who is there. So count me in as usual. I will try to bring some door prizes and I want to ...

Re: 2008 Polish Mountain Entry List
Just announced - there will not be a late entry fee for Polish Mountain since there was no online registration. We have room for entries, so come on down - see everyone there

Re: New Jersey Motor Sports Park
I couldn't afford to do both this year, and my choice is obvious for all of the reason Sue outlined. When I go away for the weekend, I like to relax. I can do that at a hillclimb. I get the best social bang for the buck, even though the track time is much less (although this year we have had so many...

2008 Polish Mountain Entry List
Just thought I would make this a separate topic so that everyone could see who is registered. I will update it daily through Wednesday July 30th. Here is the link:

Re: "The Rose"
Good observations, Mel. I'm having a difficult time, financially, going to the events this year. But I have made it a top priority, and even though I have a longer tow than most, I will do whatever I can to get to every event - especially this one (due to the historically low turn out). I don't know...

Re: Polish Mountain Hillclimb August 2&3
There will be LOTS for great give-a-ways for workers at Polish Mountain. Shirts, books, cash - every worker will leave with something worthwhile. Did I mention free food and alcohol and the undying respect of Hillclimb legend, Rich Rock, who will be available to sign autographs all weekend long.

Re: Online Polish Mtn entry?
No - sorry but there won't be an online entry for Polish mountain. You can call me at 412-882-3100 and we can do a credit card over the phone (extra $5 to pay for the credit card fees) or you can FAX your entry from to me (call first and I will give you the FAX number and turn it on). Of course you ...

Re: "The Rose"
I am registered for EProd, and if I do well on Saturday, I will pay another entry fee and register for GT3 on Sunday. I did that last year as well - paying 2 entry fees but not getting any more runs than anyone else. But you do get 2 trophies if you win, and you help support the hill that I never wa...

Re: Sound Control
I like the proactive approach, but it is also good to know who should be thinking about being proactive. In other words, there are probably some cars that we never assumed were loud (like yours - that never occurred to me) who should be alerted. So I propose that cars at 102 and above be listed some...

Hey Koo-yacht!!!! Sorry - couldn't resist. At least I know how to pronounce your name. Wait until Duryea when I will be announcing again - both days this time. Anyway, I think that we will never really get to the bottom of the problem. Excellent observations about the "annoying" issue and ...

Dave, you ignorant slut. Oh, sorry - just watched an SNL rerun. Actually, I agree completely with everyone who has posted. I have experience with this exact issue as we needed to do something with our events in Pittsburgh. We have been running autocrosses in a county park for over 50 years. That was...

Thanks for the great camera work, Tim. I tried to put some photos into a shopping cart, but they didn't stick. I know which ones I want - can I just email you and then Paypal you the money? Thanks, Mike Ancas
