I resent Dan's quote above as I have never geezed. Not even once.

Re: Mt Philo Hillclimb October 16-17 2010, Vermont.
I am not writing this as a criticism of anything written above. On 8 October, 1989 we had a driver fatally injured at Weatherly Hill Climb. He was driving an ex Corvette Cup car in ASP. There was a full cage. He was new to the car and to the hill. His last time was a 106.656. The crash started at ju...

Re: Jefferson "Horizontal Hillclimb"
Certain un-named individuals were discharging fireworks from the tops of the Jersey barriers is the Jefferson pits. Upon investigation it was learned they were not wearing their Nomex, helmets with face shields or gloves. They did have a box of fireworks right below the stuff being lit. If there was...

Well, the space-time continuum is not merely curved, but actually bent. So you should be in good shape.

Re: Wrist restraints
I saw the failed arm restraint and can not recall the maker's name. This is probably because I had never heard of the name before. John Pittman was there at the time. Perhaps he made a note of it. It was not made by anyone recently in the news for making sub-standard safety gear.

F & C lost a slow moving car at Duryea last year. When I found him he was stopped against the right guardrail. I was at speed, such as it is, in the left lane and passed him like he was standing still. I stopped at Oh Sh*t to ask if perchance someone should be missing. The reply was something li...

Re: Kill switch location
Put a tab on the cage where it can be reached through the open right window. The window is required to be open anyway and you will be able to reach when belted in. That is a major convenience when you have belted in having forgotten to turn it on.
