Actually looking at Bobs post - the 'pre 1970' eligibility probably (in rounded terms) refers to 1973 when the race was turned over from SCCA to control of the VSCCA. I thought Equinox was for earlier cars as well - like the usual VSCCA list of entries (i.e. the car has to have an airplane engine from WW1, chain drive, and rope around the exhaust pipe.)
