Dave, In SP removing the rear seat is forbidden, but not in SM. I imagine the PHA turns it's head because the weight lost is more than offset by the rollbar in its place. Which kind of makes sense. I've been picked off in the trips in a 50 zone.. I got yanked out, torn up and down by 3 troopers and then had to explain everything about the car, pop the hood etc to be let off with a seatbelt ticket..

Granted, I know I shouldn't be speeding, but not all cops have to be DB's about it lol
