What are you laughing at Tim, I seem to remember a "Delta Foil" concept you had going for the Mustang. Your car would fit right in between those 2. LMAO!!!! :D

That is Rolf Maier's car, and it does live up to the description given. That is a scary fast ride in a pretty unassuming package. I am in the picture of him leaving the line a Duryea. I guess I hit the big time..lol. Wait a minute,,he never asked permission,, can I sue ?

When I rolled the Mustang the Autopower cage held up great. Even though the roof along the windshield was wrapped around the top of the cage the floor brackets did not distort one bit. I do agree that the placement of the pads in a Mustang could have been moved around a little for optimum strength. ...

Re: Jefferson - direction

As for familiarization runs, we may actually get more total seat time by doing a familiarization run on Sunday as well as Saturday. You will get more "timed" runs on a Sunday if eliminating a familiarization run, but actually time on the track can be greater using a familiarization run (a...

Tim, I understand what you are saying about hooking the Kill to the Negative side. But the one flaw with is that their are possable grounds all over a car. In a wreck when things get bent and squished you can pick up even more grounds through the body work. On the other hand the ONLY power source is...

Just something to add. I know that welding the diff's is common practice in front wheel drive race cars. But one very important thing to remember is that in road racing the corners are not near as sarp as the turns in most of our hillclimbs. Not to mention the speeds that you carry through a turn on...

If it is a Kirkey aluminum seat then by all means I would make a brace for it that attaches to the seat back bar. They tend to fold up nicely in a wreck.

As far as I know I have never seen a CFC class in our events. But I think the Sparton would fit pretty nicely in one of the special classes. It could even be a contender for some records in Special. I am not sure if it would be Special 1,2,or 3. I never looked at how they break up the groups.

1974 AAR Gurney Eagle for sale

I came across a 1974 AAR Gurney Eagle Turbo Offy Indy Car for sale on E-Bay Item # 4521700603 . Who ever has it seems to have alot of info about it and might have a link to spare parts. So if you are reading this Timmer there might be some helpful info for the Danko's car.

Congrats to Mash!!

Our friend from the south Mark Mashburn has his pick in the new Grassroots Motorsprts. There is a small report about the Snowshoe Hillclimb with a pic of Mash's GT-1 Camaro running up the hill. There is also a mention of Dennis Fink and the Reynard. And I think they are talking about Ricks March whe...
