Re: 2014 Fall Jefferson
Grace Shows you what happens when I type before I think, my bad. I hate to use the "assume" word, but, I assumed we were on group two, but I was not keeping track. As to the "workers being tired" I was on turn three and I recall no station on the radio net making that comment at ...

Re: 2014 Fall Jefferson
A point to remember is that Sun started with group 2, so at the point the event ended (after group 1) both groups had the same number of sets. If we had offered group 2 again we would have had to offer group 1 to keep the sets the same.

Re: Car classification question
Cross engine manufacturer swaps as mentioned are not allowed. PHA allows it but it bumps the car into Special (1 2 or three by engine size).
However all Specials require a full cage.

Re: Duryea Paving
The paving at the finish line is done. They actually did more than originally planned.
The seam between the old and new surfaces is very smooth with very little disturbance at speed. They did a very good job.

Re: ### Fuel Cell Needs
You are correct in that the GCR requires the fuel cell. If you plan to run Club racing.---------------------- If you will only run Time Trials use the Time Trials rules, they are different. A fuel cell is highly recommended but not necessarily required, look at the rule that applies to your class. R...

Re: Fall Weatherly questions?
There is no requirement that anyone needs to make X number of runs. If you do not show up for any offered run that run is considered a DNS. The only rule is that to have an official run you must complete same (Trip the start and trip the finish line). Successful completetion of the novice requiremen...

Re: 2012 Change with Tech
Easy answer to that question.
Registration gives registered entries to timing.
If you show up at start without being registered, timing will flag you. Must be registered to run.

Re: New to Hill Climb Saying hello!
How old is the car? Older ones did not have suspension. Be sure that it has working suspension front and back. From the picture it appears to have it on the front but the back is not able to br seen. What area do you live in? It really pays to have a tech inspector look at it. Give an area and one o...

Rich I have been trying to restrain my self and I thing I have cooled down enough to say this and still stay calm. First I agree with your comment (where did they find the moderators ((goofs))?). Second is a question. Is someone trying to get our events cancelled? Who set up a passenger riding in a ...

One of the basics to remember when researching a class listing. Each class gives a standard and it gives items that may be modified (added/removed). "if an item is not listed as being allowed to be modified if cannot be modified.

As I recall NJ has a law that will not allow the speed limit to be broken even if the road is dedicated to an event, the State Poilce will run radar during the event aand ticket each violation.

Re: Upholstering a race seat?
Be careful with any piece of approved equipment. from a tech inspector view point if an approved item is modoified in any way the approval becomes null and void. If we see that the seat has been changed after the approval was applied it is suspect and must be sent back to the manufacturer for a new ...
