Does anyone have contact information (e-mail) for Tim Updegrove, the guy who took those great photos at the hills?

Re: Approved PHA classes
The class designation on the side of my car is irrelavent to me. As repeated many times on this forum, there is a class for any car. You can call my car a Continental, or Special 2 (that could be fun) for all I care. My goal each weekend is to challenge the mountain and see if my car and I can go qu...

Re: Off season
Unfortunately, I got a phone call from another interested individual, so I called my friend. It has already found a new home. Sorry

Re: Off season
One of our local SCCA guys has had what was reported to be an excellent slot car track (2-3 4X8 sheet area) in his home for years. Region members used to hold a winter racing series there. Last I heard was that he is moving and offered the whole thing, track, power supplies, etc. to anyone who would...

Re: Drive the Hershey Hillclimb this week
Matt, Nope, you go up the hill in the "normal" direction. Going as slow as you do during the trip, you can see all of the damage and rough sections of road which might be invisible at speed (until they catch you totally unaware, as they did to me several years ago !).

Re: Drive the Hershey Hillclimb this week
We take the grand demons up every year to see the lights. You do get to take a run up the hill at speed. 3 MPH ! The sad part is that the road is in absolutely horrible condition. Hopefully before the "next" hill climb, it will be repaired but it would require complete repaving to be invit...

Virus Warning
I have tried twice to go to the photo section and my anti-virus program has detected a virus. It happened yesterday (12-7-08) and again today (12-8-8). Anyone else finding this?

Re: Hershey Vintage Hill Climb...2008
I registered what seems like ages ago and have not heard one word, other than a cryptic e-mail that said they had recieved my application, but nothing since. A fat little bird told me that as late as last week Herco did not even know that the event was planned. I was in the area today and stopped by...

And believe me when I say you are competing with Morg for the "most time on your hands" while still being gainfully (?) employed. Morg is "retired on active duty"

Stan,
If you get any more "mature" we're going to have to bottle you or declare a national holiday

Stan, Please accept my condolences for your loss. We miss you up here. Despite the fact that the road, for the most part, was repaved, the hill was very difficult to drive safely. The long front straight, from the start to turn 1, contained undulations and patches that threw the car around severely....

To the best of my knowledge, the age requirement for the cars is still 25 years or older. That means up to '82. Unlike some vintage racing, it is years old and rolls with the calendar year. Eligibility of any car must be determined by the SVVSCC guys and they should be contacted directly. Best bet, ...

Hi George,
Charlies phone # 717-545-0257
E-Mail cdemmy@aol.com
I didn't know you had anything old enough (other than yourself ) to run with us. Remember this is a vintage only event. Hopefully we will see Stan up here this year. Bring anyone else you can think of.

I spoke with this year's Hill Climb Chairman, Charlie Demmy and he said the website http://www.svvscc.org will have complete information by February. Check out the site for accurate and up to date info.
