Re: Medical Exam

I guess I'll just send it in & see what happens. All these years & a gazillion drivers & they still can't get their s**t together. Sue

Re: Medical Exam

Both my renewal & David's say medical required. I don't want to stir up trouble by calling them. Sue

Medical Exam

I'm confused. I thought SCCA dropped their requirement for medical exams for hillclimb licenses. Looked at my renewal & it wants a medical. Didn't mind when I had insurance from work but now it's a pain-in-the-wallet for two of us. What's the real scoop Matt?

Re: 2016 TT Licensing

Bill received the first week of February. Too late to bitch, already had to pay for it. Not used to no health insurance after 34 years in county government.

Re: 2016 TT Licensing

Then how come our renewal said David needed an exam this year? We're on a 2 year schedule, but opposite years. I don't have medical coverage from work anymore, so we actually had to pay for the doc to fill out the form. So now I'm confused AND out $$$. Sue

Re: Fall Weatherly 2015

Gracie as "Queen of the Hill"? You're too sweet Larry. Looks smooth in the video but sure doesn't feel that way inside - my right leg is still bruised from hitting the trans tunnel. Thanks to Pete's suspension work it is more fun to drive. Wish we had somewhere to race in October. Thanks a...

Did you ever find any of the Jag? Too bad you missed Turn 3; she looks really silly there. Sue

Re: Fall Weatherly

Kind of tacky when the workers are banished to the foundry. In the spring, I suggested if it was such a cool car to pay the entry & advertise by taking a run. Sue

Re: Arm Restraints ?

Don't worry if you don't get them in time - I keep an extra set in my Nomex bag. Stop fretting - we take good care of new drivers. Look for the old Jag & start the weekend with one of my martinis. Sue

If you have a setting for Slo-Mo maybe you got the Jag. Just couldn't get my sh*t together. Thanks, Sue

Steve - Time to brush up on your knowledge of early sportscar & Formula 1 racing. And the early days of AutoWeek. Talent & class - Danica should have used her as a role model.

"Suitcase" died May 6th.The newbies can google her & we oldtimers will pour a glass of wine & fondly remember. Got to race with her in vintage & listen to the master storyteller. Hard to mourn for 88 years of a packed life but some people you just expect to live forever. Sue

Re: 2015 Pagoda Hillclimb

Steve - we can't afford to turn away drivers by being rigid. PHA has always been "driver friendly" as opposed to SCCA road racing. Special situations can always be accommodated. We've had lots of novices show up Saturday morning & the world hasn't ended. And Rich, of all people, is har...

Jackie/Butch - I need to talk to you about Ascutney. How is the road surface? If I am careful, can I run it in the Jag?

Re: More Rose Valley

Like I said in my post yesterday - pray for 2 weeks of hot & dry. It's an uneven field that can be ugly when wet. I have a photo somewhere of my MGA being pulled out of the mud by the farmer's tractor.
