Re: ITE/Classing of street legal "swapped" cars

Rich Rock asked me to look at NASA rules for Performance Tuner (PT)and Super Touring (ST) rules to see if the 240Z complies. I have to admit that I spent a limited time on their rules so if I'm missing something, I welcome the input. In PT, all kinds of upgrades are allowed assessing points. Once yo...

Re: ITE/Classing of street legal "swapped" cars

Hey Mark, You touch on many subjects that are close to my heart. So why do we have to have so many classes? But first, lets start with the intent of ITE. A few years ago, I was on the Supp rules committee with Jeremy D as the chairman. While I had my own opinion of what ITE should be, as did other S...

Re: 2015 Duryea

Some of you know me? Some of you dont! Those who know me, Im a big pain in the ass! I cant believe we cant move on from the dark ages. Some of us remember the days (back in the 60's) when you had to get your Duryea entry in within 24 hours of it being mailed out! The cut off was 100. Its now 6 decad...

Has anyone seen the latest internet craze about celebraties trying to raise awareness of ALS or Lou Gehrigs desease by dumping a bucket of ice water on themselves and then challenging other celebraties to do the same? Wish I would have known about this a few days ago. What does this have to do with ...

Need new motor

This is the first time I'm trying to post a video involving myself. It was taken from incar of Kyle Disque in a GT Light Toyata during the Majors race at NJMP June 7th. Kyle is about to overtake me on the front straight. I didn't think the episode damaged the motor but after that I have been rapidly...

Re: Hill Live Timing

On the road courses, we use Race Monitor dot com. Very usefull. Easy instant update but needs transponders. Maybe they have a manual input module that would work? The cool thing about Race Monitor is you can monitor Pro Races and other amature events as well. I have even seen autocross results poste...

Duryea Results 2013

Does anyone else have a problem opening the results from Duryea 2013? I have tried for several days with 3 different browsers. I keep getting an error message that the file is damaged and can't repair. It's only Duryea. I can open others that I try.

Re: Jefferson Expansion

Tom, you sure know how to how to make a subject go silent! Just joking. You cut right to the point. We all assume that we race and everyone is going to support us because we paid our fee. IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT. My hat is off to all those who get involved with putting on these events. 80% o...

Re: WAKE UP RACERS

Love to hear that kind of stuff Mike. I read that book before Mark was killed. Don't remember a thing about it but he became my favorite driver. I do know it also helped me keep up my engineering studies and graduate. Unless you are building an all new car, it's not good to make too many changes. To...

Nice little blurb about Warren Schiff and his Super 7 and PHA hillclimbs in this months Sports Car. It's on page 62 under the Divison Reports for the Northeast, titled " No One trick Pony".
Nice going everyone involved.

Re: Jefferson Expansion

Grace, I thought your original reply was contructive, not negative. Passing in any SCCA Time Trial would be only designated straights (front and back straights at Jefferson) with a point by. Believe me this is not a panacia. I have done many events as an instructor and you always get behind someone ...

Re: WAKE UP RACERS

Doesn't anybody want to speak up? I'll start. Because of the new GT Lite Limited Prep rules, I decided to revive an old project. Rabbit of course. It will include my own design for front suspension increasing track width by 3 inches over stock. Body mods include German Imported Berg Cup kit, fibergl...
