Re: Entry lists for Hillclimb events.

At every event after the first run there is a list posted by Nelson that has the persons name, car number, and time. All one would need to do is look at the list and see who is running. If you see car number 116 and wonder who that driver is, just look on the list and you will see that the driver is...

Re: Entry lists for Hillclimb events.

If I am pitted across from someone I don't know, I walk over and introduce myself. My 10 cents!!

Re: Pagoda

My congratulations to BMR for putting on a GREAT event. The expanded Pit space at the bottom was fantastic and the idea of having 10 cars line up while the other run groups came down really seemed to speed up the process. Really great improvements. Thanks to Rich, Nelson, Rick, Both Good and Bad Mat...

Re: Pagoda

Steve, When I took the tech items down to Jefferson there were at least 20 plus log books in the box. I would find it hard to believe that they issued that many at Jefferson and Weatherly. By the way I told Rich that all the money for the log books goes to Kurt. He bought them out of his own pocket.

Re: 2012 Pagoda

From now on it will be run from the same start line as Duryea. It ends further up the hill before the Pagoda. We stage the cars in the Pagoda parking lot for each group. Hope this explains and answers your question.

Re: 2012 Pagoda

Matt I do believe that the software does allow only the name, class and number to be put in.(My auto events). If I am not mistaken Nelson has done that exact thing with Jefferson. When a mail in comes in he simply puts in the name, class, and number on my auto events and the list is up to date. I se...

Re: 2012 Pagoda

I'm curious why the mail in's are not entered on my auto events. I know for a fact that Spring Jefferson is up to date on my auto events with both on line registrations and mail in's. I think it is nice to see who is registered for each event, and I wouldn't think it is that difficult if one has acc...

Re: Motoiq radio show/ Hillclimb show.

Nice job Alex and Bob. I listened to the whole program very "good stuff." Don Imus better watch out or we may be hearing a new radio program called "Damore in the morning."

Re: Proposed change for 2012 year end points.

Tom, you are 100% correct. I let one person's comments/statements outside the forum cloud my thoughts. In retrospect I should have said, "The politics of one individual." As they say," I did not put brain in gear before opening mouth." Diplomacy is not one of my better traits. Co...

Re: Proposed change for 2012 year end points.

Bob, I treasure your opinions more than most. There is more to the picture than appears on this forum. I just no longer have the desire or the fortitude to push ahead. I just want to pay, go, compete, and come home! My decision to drop this issue was not because of any opinions offered on this forum...

Thanks Mark so did I! Trying to get something changed in this organization is like, "trying to shovel shit against the tide." I was warned but didn't listen. NEVER AGAIN! :|

Re: Proposed change for 2012 year end points.

I am going to withdraw my original proposal for a points change for 2012. I would like to thank Nelson Matt and Kurt for their efforts in trying to work out a solution to this suggestion but clearly see that it is futile in nature. I truly hope that everyone has a great Holiday season and thanks ag...

Re: Proposed change for 2012 year end points.

Jeremy, thanks for your input. One of the reasons I thought about awarding points/point for records broken was a way to help that driver that might excel but was not able to make all the events. On the other hand if two drivers were running back and forth between first and second for all the events,...

Re: Proposed change for 2012 year end points.

While some classes may be stuck with only being able to modify to a certain point, tires & driver will be the next upgrade. However, those of us in street classes can be beaten by a host of newer cars and wider tires. All I need to do is look at Dan Reed's performance this year. He certainly ha...

Re: Proposed change for 2012 year end points.

Matt, thanks for your valued input. I would have no problem with one point for breaking a record. My thoughts were that there is only one point difference between first and second. Breaking a record is much harder than winning a class and I felt that it would warrant 2 points instead of one. However...

Re: Proposed change for 2012 year end points.

It really isn't a "PITA." You also say "all this extra stuff." It really is quite simple. You simply add 2 to the 10 which equals 12. If you see a 12 in the results for first place you know that person set a record. As for your theory lets take it a step further. If driver 1 wins...
