Sorry to hear his passing. I never met him, but I suspect I would have liked him.

Re: Fall Weatherly 2015

SAAB #13 when ever you get to it Larry. Many thanks for all your efforts with the video this year. If you are coming back driving next year, we will have to return the favor to you somehow with some video of your ride. And Kurt's clips were just great. That car is so neat and no shifting to screw up...

Re: test

That's really nice how you clipped the various locations of one car all together. we enjoyed the DVD's you sent us. watched the whole show on the 40 inch TV.
You did a great job!! IT really helps to see where we put our cars in the corners and a lot can be learned. Might even make us better divers?

Certainly bumpy where you were. It looks like the camera was knocked loose and then pointed down. Black hole ?? I'm loading my video and will see how much I bump around @10.

Could not agree with you more on Randy Pobst. But Matt , what are we going to give him to drive ? A FSP Neon or a SMF SAAB ?

Re: Feedback on PM

Hi John, glad you had a good time. I am sure someone will post and say you should have read all the rules and regulations and the whole of the entry info. However when I stopped Friday to say hello and welcome you, I could have bent your ear to make sure you were all knowing. I like your Idea of a n...

Re: AIM Solo Course Setup?

Don't know about that stuff. But if you are getting a little nervous, just watch some video and be cool. PHA is mostly helpful and friendly. Remember your goals should be : get to the hill, pass tech, make lots of new friends, have fun, DON'T CRASH, and do a little better each run. Oh , and be prepa...

Re: Inspection Clarification Please

Some detailed pictures of the cage and the diameter of the tubing and the wall thickness might help some of the guys on the site . Is there an inspection hole drilled in the hoop?
they might be able to spot some issue and comment ?

Re: Best Place To Stay For Polish Mountain?

we stay in Cumberland MD area. There is a Best Western , a Super 8 and a Comfort inn all close together and maybe more places. about 20 minutes or so from Flintstone. Easy drive-good roads. Lots of people camp on the paddock site. It's a very pleasant spot.

Re: Which Event Best ???

I would have to agree that Polish is challenging enough and you will get a lot of runs, unless we all crash and slow things down. It may be closer in travel distance for you also. Probably Duryea is the longest run and can be crazy scary at first. It is so popular that you will not get as many runs ...

PHA year end class awards

I know PHA awards the winner in each class if they compete in at least 5 events. I seem to remember some times a second place dash plaque was awarded. I take note in SMF there are 5 cars that competed in at least 5 events this year. Will any second or even third place plaques be awarded there?

Re: Fall Weatherly

Mike, has PHA ever asked you about coming to the annual banquet? You could put on a really great Slide Show that could play during the awards ceremony . They would probably even feed you and ply you with drink !!

Well I'm old enough to remember Doug Hollinger. He worked for Joe Cam when they sold Morgans and Triumphs on Penn avenue . later he was at Charlie's Foreign car parts. I think you are on to a good idea there Dave.
