Re: Panic state
Steve, Although I've been retired for about a year, it is my understanding that PennDot wants to put these "rumbles" on STATE roads as a safety measure. However, I believe that this would be done during other road work, i.e they will not send out crews to only insert them. As to criteria, ...

Re: Joe Foering
Hello Friends, Unfortunately, Joe and I will probably not be able to celebrate with you at the upcoming PHA banquet. We'll miss seeing you all. Just to give you an update...Joe has completed 4 cycles of extremely debilitating chemotherapy. We'll go in for a scan on the 24th to check on the progress ...

Re: pre event tech question
If you have a TT Lic. or a Novice permit, you can run w/o a logbook; you won't be the only one w/o a logbook.

Re: pre event tech question
As I inferred in my response, Brandon does not need a TT logbook if he intends to road race where he will need a CR logbook.

Re: pre event tech question
There will be Time Trials Logbooks available at Weatherly. You can get one there and, if time permits, you can get your roll bar/cage stamped. If your primary intend is to road race with Club Racing, you will have to get a logbook from them. Try to get there Friday evening.

Thanks for all the cards, calls, thoughts and prayers. Sitting and looking at a row of 30+ staples going down your gut is a real reality check! We hope to see all you all at Duryea; meanwhile, enjoy the hell out of Polish Mtn. and call or stop by if you get a chance. PS: No matter how painful and fr...

Re: I Survived the Pagoda Hillclimb
A special thanks and a "hearty well done" to the tech inspectors team that helped make the event relatively "painless" (with one exception-me) despite the downpours on Friday. Thanks to Kurt, Steve and Matt who teched even though they didn't run and to the Witmans, John Pitman, a...

Why not look at it this way... What other outcome could there be in a race between a father and his respectful and dutiful son? Meanwhile, my kid whipped my butt with a shotgun shooting trap, but I kicked his on the pistol range!

Re: It's Not All Fun & Games...Hill Climb Realities
Dave, the reason is, as you know, because SOLO Rules don't require them since, ordinarily, their events don't have the potential for "incidents" that TIME TRIALS does... We could make them mandatory for SOLO cars competing in TIME TRIALS events and spell it out in the Supplements or follow...
