Debunking and short sided are not my words and it seems to be the opinion of someone else, I'm sure you know the meaning of the word "if" . As in ... If the point of your question ... My apologies if I inferred too much from your question, considering the offices you have held regionally ...

Hey George, I spoke with someone from their group earlier this year and they indicated that they do, in fact, have insurance beyond what you have described. I suspect things may have changed since you raced with them. Are you refering to liability for physical objects around the course that could be...

Question? Is the club responding an SCCA region club that uses a SCCA sanction for its hills? No Rick, it is not an SCCA club. So what? If you read the first post of this thread, you would see that I made an attempt to contact every club/group/organization in the country that is currently operating...

Way back when I was gathering information for this thread, I had contacted many other areas of the country that do hillclimbs and I indicated I would update this thread as I heard from them. I just got another response to my inquiries today and I am just following through on sharing the comments: Je...

Nice find, Geo.

I wonder if they will deliver a 55 gallon drum and, if so, how far.

They sell Sunoco race fuels are awesome people to deal with.

Troy @ Liberty screwed me last weekend as well.

I had two conversations with him that he assured me he would be delivering a 55-gallon drum to my residence last Saturday morning and removing the empty drum.

He was no call, no show, no return call.

Rick Kase wrote:There is nothing on this forum topic for me to apologize for.
Why does it have to be on this forum topic for you to apologize?

If you did wrong by someone, then you did wrong.
It doesn't matter where or when it happened.

You unjustly screamed at me. You wronged me.

Rick Kase wrote:... you have lost all sence of reason when all you can do is attack someone on a personal level.
I'm sure the readers appreciate you making such a statement.

I guess that means you are not going to apologize? I'm not surprised.

I honestly think that this proposal isn't going to fly. The silent majority has been awakened and democracy is at work. From what I'm hearing and reading in other areas of the time trial/hillclimb world, it isn't being supported. God, I hope you are right. I'm so glad that this issue was brought up...

1. How many events in the SE are hills (level 4 ). How many events are level 3. Does not the new proposed rule only apply to level 4 events? What difference does it make how many of each event they have? Even if they only have one or two hills, do you really want to see it go away? Would you like i...

Hello Rick, Maybe if you apologize to me for going off on me, for which I did not deserve, with one of your infamous public rants ... maybe, just maybe, I'll go away. I missed a crucial piece of information at one of the Reading Hills during the driver's meeting and when we were asked if we had ques...

I will only say this once, but for someone who has given up on hillclimbing you surely spend a lot of time bad mouthing the sport and those still passionately involved in it. Hey Matt, show me one place I have ever bad mouthed hillclimbing . I have nothing against against hillclimbing. In fact, I c...

SE has not posted the kind of data that has been requested neither in the forums nor in their response. This info: Still there has been no information from the south as far as how many cars had bars vs cages this year and in what classes. I apologize if I overlooked the term "this year," ...

Still there has been no information from the south as far as how many cars had bars vs cages this year and in what classes. Hey Matt, SE posted this information on the SCCA forum. You have already indicated that the discussions on the forum play at least some role in the process. We will continue d...

That is a great point Grace and thank you for correcting me.
I read Brian's comment in the other thread and took it as fact.

My mistake for not evaluating that rule change comprehensively.

I was just going by what you had written, and I do have a full cage per the GCR Production class rules. Do you have a gold card or a gold seal from National? If not, it does not seem that the cage in your car is in compliance with the GCR's production cage requirements. Correct me if I am wrong, bu...

From the first post of this thread: Keep in mind that I have not spoken to everyone ... this is just a sampling from the people I was able to track down. This does not include and vintage or historic cars, but what if the rule brings them in to? Now that Vintage and Historic cars are officially thro...

lol ... I just noted the proposed dates for these changes to take place. If having roll bar cars is such an "unacceptable risk," how is allowing them on the hills longer acceptable? With as big of a deal as has been made over all of this, I would think it would be a priority to get this ru...
