Re: petite Le Mans

It comes down to the smart ass attitude that seems to flow so freely from people that have only been coming to the events for a few years. I took time out of my busy schedule to work on a corner this year at Duryea and when the corner workers and I would stand there to give a friendly wave to the d...

Hey Rich.

Make sure you have the gate to Wankerville unlocked early. Cannon and I should be there by 10-11 am.

Re: Duryea stuff

We have 100 entries and a couple people already on the stand-by list. There are usually a few cancellations, and I'm betting that there will be some breakage at the drags on Friday, so don't be discouraged if you're on standby. Last year everyone on standby got to run. I'm bringing extra parts. 8)

Re: Points

Wow how did I finish 87th at Polish Mountain in the overall points. There wasn't even 87 drivers. I must have been really slow. I think Dave is out to get me.

Re: Myrtle Beach speedway/Darlington dragway

No need to run 100% there. What????? Who are you? You must be an impostor. It's 110% at the dragstrip brother. If you feel you'll break something, bring extra parts. I do already. I'm putting the dyno shop on notice, just in case. Hehe. To detune your car? You can't put the power down now. I ...

Re: Myrtle Beach speedway/Darlington dragway

One of these days we will have to get all of us togather at the strip (with proper slicks) and have at it. Am I invited? Which car should I bring? I don't know if my ego could handle being beaten by a wrong wheel drive  Getting mph'd by an import sucks. I'd imagine you all should beat the civi...

Re: Hey eveyone new to hill climbs 1988 RX7 GN 3.8.....

Hunter, I'm not sure where you are getting your info? I actaully helped write the rules for ITE. I will take a stab to say that this car could run NASA TTU or ST1,which means that ITE would be fine. Looks like I am wrong. I read that somewhere on the SCCA website a couple of weeks ago and thought i...

Re: Hey eveyone new to hill climbs 1988 RX7 GN 3.8.....

It will be great to see you out. I saw that you knew the guys from DSG when they were making the restrictor. You can run special or actually ITE would be allowed.I'd stick with special. I kno that with Bill and Alex showing up and the usual PHA fast guys that special is going to be fun! Can't run I...

Re: Mustang week

Nice!! Sounds like a lot of fun. Get some drag radials or slicks. That car should be at least mid 11's. Those guys probably wonder why you were so fast on the track and so slow at the 1/4.

Re: Giants Newspaper Coverage

George, you are on another level from us. I doubt Steve was speaking of you or Daryl (sp? sorry) or others when making the comment on catching the real race cars. SM will never catch those cars, as they should not be able to keep up. We (well, me hopefully along with those guys in the near future) ...
