On the case... initial database results potentially having this car being driven by Harold Anstine of Red Lion, PA. No photos in the photo files. Requested possible roll bar stamping numbers to cross reference the records. good stuff... also...Dale uploaded the latest issue of Historic Hill Climber....

He was at Duryea, 1963...but is listed as a DNF (did not finish)...as did your Father Joe. They wer...

Re: vintage saab identification needed
Hi Chuck...I guess you're looking for me? I ran your #32 through my database and the only Saab driver running that number was a Norton Richards of Bethlehem. Ran a Touring 1 Saab in 1963. As of now...I dont have much more to share. Let me look at a few other things. BTW...easiest way to get a hold o...

Re: Connie Sweigart, RIP
Sorry for your loss, Rich. Connie has been involved with hill climbing for many years and has done it all. Her article on Giants Despair, in the Nov. 1961 issue of "Today's Motor Sports" is one the the best! She was a driver, worker, and officer for the PHA.

Re: Out of touch
When I talked to Bill about it...he wasn't too happy what the new owner did to the car...50+years of patina, gone! He sold it to the fellow in this article, with the understanding that the engine and car would not be split up.
