Re: Nelson Ledges TT - WITH WING N THINGS!
We are really going to try to make it to this. Anyone that hasn't run here before, do anything you get to make it to this event, Nelsons is an amazing track.

Re: 2019 Spring Weatherly
Thanks for the info. I guess I will have to see how things get set up and where people put their service vehicles. I dont care how far away the trailer is but the van needs to be reasonably handy to wherever my car ends up, and I will need to be able to drive it at the end of each day. The Foundry ...

Re: 2019 Spring Weatherly
My first time at Weatherly. I have read the info on the PHA page regarding the event. Still have a couple logistics questions. We are staying in a hotel a few minutes away from the hill in Hazelton and expect to bring the van, car and trailer (open) over Friday morning. Is there someone pointing ou...

Re: 2019 Spring Jefferson Poll 2
I don't find it necessary to run Jefferson the way Shenandoah was ran. The trackcross style format we ran there in the fall was a necessary evil, with Jefferson IMO it isn't needed for drivers to get a sufficient amount of runs.

Re: Hillclimb suspension: softer or firmer setup?
Greetings, from a prospective hillclimber! My car is a 2005 Mazda RX-8 that is notionally SCCA DSP (underprepped from a performance standapoint, but that's fine). I have received feedback and clarification on the safety requirements, but i wanted to ask a few general car setup questions to determin...

What hills are you planning to attend? Most camp but there are usually hotels nearby.

Re: Car classification and whatnot.
I took a look at that video, It looks like I have some work to do in terms of my suspension. I never built my car to deal with the bumps and lumps found on these roads. Some people say you need a different setup than you would need for track or autocross, but my car isn't setup any differently. Ove...

Re: Car classification and whatnot.
Looks to me like you would be a good fit in SMX, which has very similar rules to XP in autocross, with a cage requirement. If you have a 6 point you should be good to go. Looking forward to having you.

Re: Question concerning Hoosier racing tires on the street
A7/R7 is street legal. You drive many competition miles on the hills with them, they will be fine for an easy 4 mile drive to the hill. I used to drive mine to events 2 hours away when I was younger and dumber.
