I know the weather can't be controlled but, since there is a history of flooding, a game plan should be in place. We were told no gravel because the land is farmed but there are other opt...

Re: Polish Mountain Repave

Rich - the condition of the road isn't the problem, the pits are. It's great that the state is supporting their event but hope there is a better plan for getting in/out of the field.

Re: Engine Coolant

Thanks Rich. We keep antifreeze in both cars for the winter but drain in the spring for racing. Probably a tiny bit stays in but not enough to cause a big problem.

Re: Engine Coolant

Just curious - what exactly was the coolant that spilled? From Rich's post, I assume it wasn't Water Wetter, which I use in the MGA. We have had antifreeze leaks in vintage racing but it wasn't that hard to clean up. Want to make sure I never buy the wrong thing.

Re: 2019 Spring Weatherly

No hookups at the hill. Some of us have RVs, others sleep in their trailers or tow vehicles. No info on private campgrounds but Hickory Run SP isn't too far.

Lightweight, not a fire suit. Keith was skinny back in the day, so it doesn't even fit David.

I wonder if they were a club thing at the time. I have its twin from Keith Weidner, came with my MGA.

Sounds like fun but I'll be chained to the TV & computer watching the 24 Hours of Daytona. I guess you picked the date to avoid football?

Thanks Larry. Anything of Group 1 with the Fiesta #17 or #38 Jag? Jag should been easy to frame since I'm going slow.

Re: Duryea 2018

That doesn't give mail-in entries the customary "head start". Do I have to stay up until midnight to register online? This is getting silly.

Re: Grace Huntzinger

Is the video available to view? What a great idea; I'd love to see it. I've been trying to update on the PHA. Facebook page. Didn't realize you were on Sherene's e-mail blaster. She's a hoot - very much like Grace; she writes everything down in a journal. Being with her you can see the engineer's mi...

Grace Huntzinger

For anyone not at Giants, you might not know that Grace Huntzinger was in a serious accident towing to the hill. She is in Penn Presbyterian Hospital in Philly. She has severe leg & hip fractures & has undergone two long surgeries so far. David & I were with her sister at the hospital al...

Next time you all see Larry, be sure to thank him for the videos. It's a lot of work dragging equipment up the course & then hours of editing at home. We need to stop taking his "gifts" for granted. Sue
