My girlfriend and I stopped at Duryea to spectate for about an hour (on our way to the Berks County Humane Society to adopt a doggie)... and we just happened to see you climb the berm. Car made a god-awful *SMACK* as it first contacted the grade, and a large thump when it landed flat up top. Not sur...

Is a novice club racing license accepted on the hills? I neglected to renew my hillclimb license when I started working towards a club racing license...

Just for the record, I also oppose cages in street classes. Here's a list of cars in my class... I am suggesting that if roll cages were the safest thing in the world all automobiles would have them on the street. Is this a serious comment? By that logic, why are convertibles or motorcycles still around? Because people want them. People also want cheap cars. Adding roll cages to them adds cost...

Couple of facts on my end... I raced the swift for 1.5 years (with a full rollcage), with no tow vehicle or trailer. I never intended to ever race any car without a full rollcage. I've seen a million car crashes that resulted in folded A-pillars... Just because you have a roll cage, doesn't mean it ...

So where is the assessment? And what has changed that assessment? Why are cars that were deemed safe 2-3 years ago, suddenly not safe any more? Sorry, Tony is ditching the hillclimb because he fubar'd his miata while attempting a clutch swap... So I won't have the wideband available.

It's the small white suzuki swift (looks like a geo metro). Really loud... probably sitting under a red EZ-Up.

Tony Powell is supposed to return mine at Duryea... If you haven't located one by then you can borrow mine.

when I wanted to "log" my wideband, I just placed the display next to the tach and aimed my in-car camera at both.... A cheap way to turn a cheap wideband into a data logger....

I find it interesting that they are targeting mufflers and not the tips. I promise you that most of hte tin-can sounding buzz-sawa in Reading will sound just as bad (maybe worse!) with OEM exhaust + 6" tip. The tip barely affects the noise at all.... It's the muffler that does all the work. I ...
