Reading Eagle Pagoda Car Show Article

http://www.readingeagle.com/article.aspx?id=98832

Just something I came across, good to see people supporting the Pagoda and Skyline.

I've considered organizing something for my Subaru club, but have been too busy to get around too it. :P

What was the reason they stopped running Topton and Fleetwood? To many houses being built on the road? Thats my guess. : P

aah, so perhaps I did find something worthwhile. :)

Does anyone know what road was used for the Topton event?

I live in Fleetwood and if i am correct, Franklin St, was the starting line for the hillclimb event that ran out of Fleetwood.

I figured as much. I'm more of a city person then a country one. I like the Reading area cause its got city but country right outside the city limits.

I think I'm going to pass actually.

Area is perhaps a bit to far out of the way for me, but if they offer lots of money, maybe I'll consider it. ;)

Towanda, PA

Where the heck is Towanda? Or I should say, since I have Google...what the heck is around Towanda? I have Proctor and Gamble inquiring with me for an interview, and I'm trying to figure out of its even worth looking into. I kinda applied on a larf... It might be a good position, but, Towanda seems r...

Heat exhaustion is a common cause of death in sports, I wonder how their insurance handles it...where as motorsports seems constantly under the gun about safety, people are allowed to basically run themselves to death. High school football seriously injures how many kids a year and we are getting ar...

Testing a Transponder

Hey,

I plan on running some sprint races and enduros next year, the car I bought came with a transponder, however as I've never used one before, I'm not really sure how you go about testing it to make sure its working.

Any road-racers point me in the right direction?

Eh? Does that mean they are only going to hold SCCA events and require SCCA membership to use the track? I suppose the track needs to be built first regardless heh...

Info, to bring vendors/sponers to Mt. Penn Events?

I've been trying to get a hold of John Champion about bringing a vendor to the Mt. Penn events, and other sponsorship info. Is he the one that I contact about any inquiry on this? Or can anyone else answer any questions I have? I'd like to find out about potential conflicts of interest, how it could...

Avent brings up a point that I tried to make in a previous post. There is no safety class requirement for obtaining the TT license you need to run SCCA hillclimb. You pay a fee and you get the TT license. If we feel full cages are only about safety , and not insurance , then I'd like to know why the...

Having someone with a brain behind the wheel would have helped.

Understeer into a wall! I wish I could be that laid back about wrecking a rare exotic car. And they totaled two Carrera GT's making this garbage of a movie!?

What the hell!?
