Re: How about....FV?

Thanks for clearing things up. My formula vee gained a roof, lost 3 cylinders, no suspension.

Re: GCR question

Stan, The PHA Vintage rules are based from the SCCA Vintage Rules, which are from the 1972 GCR. Only deviation is the PHA supps, which over ride the 72 GCR. Historic 3 is a catch all class for pre-73 formula car and sports racers except for certain classes like F5000, Super Vee. As far as a car bend...

Re: Skyline Drive Repaving

Happy for the paving, not to happy about rumble strips. Is there anyway we can have them removed from the plan? Rt 202 bi-way thru Montgomery and Bucks Counties has bikes lanes on it with nothing but, a normal white line separating the travel lanes and the bike lanes with a token bike symbol painted...

I hope that this does not end in a SAAB story! Sorry, I had too. LMAO! Lastly, I hope Mary Anne has a tire sponsor, if she wins!

Re: 2015 Pagoda Hillclimb

Steve, I understand the rules, this is not my first rodeo. In construction, you take a day off, you might as well look for another job. We always did novice meeting on Saturday morning because isn't enough to try and tow a car to the event, register, and go thru tech on Friday night. Since, you feel...

Re: 2015 Pagoda Hillclimb

I have noticed something in the supps (also in the Jefferson supps) that the Novice meeting is 7 pm Friday night. Since I am considered a novice again by the rules, I find that a bit of a hardship since I work in construction and most times I am lucky to make back to my house by 6pm or later; I doub...

Re: Rose Valley Cancelled

Should be able to use a track skid steer, plate tamper/small roller, and a couple loads of dirt. Most likely only take a day or two and hope for a dry summer. Skid steer weighs less than most RV and trucks that we bring in. What ever you do with the dirt, have a one call mark out of the site. I have...

I believe Autopower makes a bolt-in rollbar with removable dia. braces that is legal for hillclimbs.

Re: Novice driver for Trout Run

Hawk,

I would talk to Larry Long, I believe he is in Jersey Shore, PA. Otherwise, maybe tell us what you plan on running and what has been done to it then, maybe we can steer you in the right path.

Re: SPO/SPU Rules

Generally, SPO and SPU follow Production/GT safety rules. Nediv SCCA website has the class rules. Could the car be classed as a ST car, as STU or STO in GT-2? ITE was supposed to be for old World Challenge/ Continental Tire race cars.

Your car is in SPO, STO is the class that got the axe by SCCA.

Re: WAKE UP RACERS

Rich, It boils down to time and money. Last year from Memorial Day weekend till the end of the year, I worked just about every Friday night, or Saturday, or Sunday night except for about 5 weekends(included Duryea which I got 3 calls from my boss asking to please come in); had one stretch of 21 days...

Vintage Rules

During this rainy spring, I have been doing some searching on various vintage racing websites and realized that while some are stuck to the past and very rigid at allowing only certain cars and years; others, have enbraced newer(yes, a reliative term when it comes to vintage) cars. The SVRA, VRG, an...

Go to Schelude/Results page and click on downloadable supps for each event that has supps out. It is an oversite, Solo Vee just got moved from F mod to C mod this year.

2013 Supps

A little note, Solo Vee class rules have been moved in the Solo Rules from F Modified to C Modified for 2013. We are still listing it as a F Mod car in our supps.

The hot tire size back in the day was 205-55-14 but, I usually hit the inner fender well on the Rocco in tight corners. Never had that problem with the Golf GT.
