I am thinking more long term.
If the Rolex is running there, things should be looking good for the SCCA ruinning there.
Maybe a PHA event or MARRS event.

VIR TT

Any news on the VIR TT this year?
Missed it last year and would like to run it this year but I did see anything about it on the VIR website.
Thanks

Looking for pics from Summit Pt

A friend was helping out at the carousel at Summit Point on the Sunday. He told me that I had my race car up on 3 wheels going around there and that someone else working the corner was taking pictures. I was co-driving Donny’s red Renault. Car #6. Any one on here know who that was? I would love to g...

Wonderful weather for the event. The long straight did throw our car around as well Ken. Sorry about your luck. Felt like I was sitting on top of a bobble head going up there. Had to be worse in an open wheeler. Sorry for holding you guys up those two times Sunday afternoon. We had a throttl...

To get back and forth to the event on the event weekend you would only have to remove one bar. The one that runs by your head. That’s 4 bolts. If you are worried about the front upper cage bar, that would mean a few more bolts to remove. This is what is also in the car I am building. I have added ad...

Is it possible to register for Jeffeson without knowing the car I will be driving? I am trying to get a car ready in time but I have had to put it aside to get another one ready for Hershey. If I run out of time I will just co-drive the Hershey car. It may come down to the wire.
Thanks.

Solo events are safer than hill climbs?

Dang.
Take a look at this carnage at a Solo event. Nobody was hurt but the cars.
Saw it on the H Production forum.

We accept bribes.
Of course since the beer is free Friday night I don't know what you can bribe us with.

I am hoping it does not snow.

my first Mustang had a bolt in cage. The whole front section, bar at windshield, front down tubes and door bars, could be unbolted and removed in less than 10 minutes without help. Steve, the car I am bulding now came with exactly what you said. A bolt in cage attached to the rear roll bar. I belie...

I was a novice last year.
I was also a fireman for a number of years.
After seeing the aftermath of enough car/tree accidents, there is no way I would run a hillclimb without a good cage.

Add For Hershey in Vintage Racing

Just picked up the new copy of Vintage Motorsport.
Hershey has an add in the back for the upcoming Hill Climb.
Nice to see a little more ink for the sport.

For what it is worth, I checked our stats from Spring. Spring we ran 13 total laps. For Fall we both had 18 laps. 6 runs each. I maybe getting old, but I am pretty sure we both had 3 runs each on Sunday. I was itching for a 4th but I also understand we kept people late Saturday (5:30?) so I can unde...
