bad news on the 4 point- unless your friends car is just about bone stock the 4 point is no good for our series, he would have to run in unprepared and meet those guidlines

i spoke to our chief of tech, sounds like your setup should fly no problem, and i think your friends 4 point will be ok as long as his car is pretty much "stock" ( but i will find out about his setup this weekend)

hkk, I think you may have mised my point. I do have a 6-point roll bar , but my understanding is that I would need a full roll cage to run in any of your events. I am questioning the comparison of a roll bar to a roll cage. My apologies is my last post was not clear. ahah, bar instead if cage, more...

it all depends on what class you are in, the only hill that has a mandatory cage rule is ascutney, i run in prepared ( vw jetta, fully stripped, race prepped) for strret legal type cars you are looking at streep prepared or unprepared ( stock), no cage required in unprepared, and iirc streep prepare...

it seems that 2.x miles is the norm, we have a couple longer ones up here ascutney1 (short course) 3.4mi ascutney2 (long course) 4.2 mi (iirc) okemo is aound 2.7 burke is like 2.4 philo is our short but sweet run, right around a mile washington is vintage only these days when they run it these arent...
